Chapter 51 : Is This A Sick Joke?

Tuka entered the battlefield and immediately started shooting the dragon hoping that she could injure it, and so that she might have a slightest chance of killing it.


But reality is always disappointing, her arrow didn't even put a slightest scratch on the dragon's scale, however she didn't despair like the others, as she kept shooting arrows toward the dragon she was constantly thinking of how to at least injure this creature.


And finally she suddenly thought of hitting it's eye with her arrow, as soon as thought of that she Instantly took an action because every second matters.


She shot her arrow into the dragon's eye and it was a bullseye! Her arrow penetrated into the right eye of the dragon, seeing this the other elves saw hope of defeating it! 


They started to attack it's other eye, the dragon was extremely enraged as it eye became permanently crippled, it let out a loud angry roar it was so loud that everyone who heard would have to cover their ears.


The enraged dragon didn't stay in the sky above and it dived into the ground where the rest of the elves were shooting, seeing it's action all of the elves shattered in a different direction and white running they were still shooting the dragon.

The elves fought bitterly, many lives were lost, their attempt of penetrating the other dragon eye was a failure as the dragon became more cautious and because of their failure only a few males elves survived.


While the females and childrens who survived are dozens, however they couldn't escape because the entire place was filled with fire, literally the flames were trapping them and they could only wait for their deaths.


Everyone despaired including Tuka, she was looking at the flame dragon in slow motion as it continued to burn the Koan forest, she thought. 'Is this really our fate? Are we going to get wiped out here?'


Her eyes we're slowly losing its light and it slowly became dull, her eyes lost its hope she knew that it was all over.


However in the midst of chaos suddenly a weird noise was heard, temporarily everyone's attention was shifted into the direction of the strange sound.


It wasn't a sound that they heard before, however it didn't lessen their worry it made them fall into a deeper despair than before, because it might be another wild animal and based on the sound that it made 'It' should be a huge creature.


Finally the culprit has finally shown itself, and it wasn't as they imagined because it was… 


"A human?"


"No! No! You're wrong can't you feel it?!"


"Feel whaaaaa?! D-d-divinity?!"


"A God! It's a God!"


"Why is a God doing in a place like ours?"


"That God is riding that metal looking horse? It was the one who made that strange sound."

That God was naturally Kyle, after he arrived what greeted him is a burning village and only ¼ of the population of the high elves are left, somewhat he felt responsible even though it wasn't his fault, it was already obvious of what he came here for it's to slay the flame dragon.


He glanced at the map, and he saw the person who ordered his help. It was a beautiful high elf woman, he couldn't remember her name but he knows her.


Kyle left his motorcycle, and approached her temporarily all eyes were on him and that includes the dragon, it became wary of his presence after all it could only feel his Divinity.


It didn't dare to attack, at least for now, as he approached Tuka she panicked a little, she doesn't know why is this God approaching her? Did she do something wrong?


Her mind was filled with negative thoughts as Kyle approached her, however all of that negative thoughts instantly disappeared.


"You made a wish right? To help you in this situation? I'm sorry that I was late but don't worry now leave this to me, I'll keep you and your people safe now go to a safe place." 


Tuka's tears were unconditionally falling in her eyes, indeed she wished that someone would help them out of this situation, but to think a God would grant her wish? She didn't expect this..no this isn't important anymore at this moment she was very glad that someone would willing to help them.


"Please! Please save us!" She shouted with a heartbreaking tone, a huge amount of tears were falling in her eyes.


Kyle felt pity for her, he couldn't really understand what kind of emotions that she had right now, and he wouldn't want to experience it.


He raised his hands and patted Tuka, in the eyes of the rest of the elves it was normal because the person who patted her is a God an obviously older existence than all of them, however in his case it was awkward as he was a century younger than Tuka, imagine patting older than you even though she looks like a teenager, she is no doubt a 100+ years old.


However the reason why he did this is because he felt like she needed this and Taku did, she felt the warmth of his hands and she felt secure.


This made her calm down, and all of the negative emotions from before are slowly disappearing.


"There, there now have you calmed down now?"


"Yes, thank you I'm okay now."


"Good then, now go I'll take care of this!" He smiled at Tuka, after that she followed his words along with her other fellow elves, they hurriedly rash toward the safest place which is a huge tree that wasn't burning yet, after gathering in one place, they worriedly looked at Kyle.


"Hey, Tuka do you think that this God could help us survive?"


"Yes, I believe in him."


"How are you so sure?"


"It's because he was there when no one else was."


"...." The elven person couldn't answer her, because Tuka was right, at a critical time like this someone is willing to help them other than believing in this unknown God, what else could they do? If they want to help they would be useless and would die in vain, it's better to leave it to this God.


Though none of them knows how strong he is exactly, they have this feeling that he is stronger than them combined.

Kyle was slowly approaching the flame dragon, he spoke. "Hey, big guy what's wrong with you? These elves were just living peacefully and now you're exterminating them?"


The flame dragon roared at him, it refused to communicate with him, dragons were a very intelligent creature in this world they might be incapable of speech, but they sure could understand languages. "I see, so that's your answer then...I'm going to kill you."


Hearing that the dragon immediately breathed a flamethrower like fire into Kyle's location, this made the elves scream in panic, however their panic was for nothing because within an instant he disappeared and appeared above the dragon's head and he smiled. "Provoking the enemy is effective as always."


He perfectly landed at the dragon's head, and smirked. "Even though you're quite an intelligent creature but you wouldn't know that I could literally kill you in one punch, it was nice meeting you goodbye."


Kyle gently punched the dragon's head, after a moment of silence.


SPAAATTTT!!


The dragon's entire head exploded! Leaving nothing but it's blood, the elves who saw this scene shouted while their eyeballs were almost pooping out of their eye!


""WHAAAAAT?!?!""


At this moment, they felt very complicated... countless fellow elves died because of this dragon yet their efforts were in vain because they couldn't even scratch the dragon's head, yet this God appeared and as soon as he did the undefeated legendary flame dragon died just like that?


Is this a sick joke?!!
