Chapter 37 : Is Holding Hands Lewd?

The shopping was fun and eventful, he didn't get bored, if it wasn't for Kanna being here this might as well be considered a date with Tohru.

Since they are holding hands, many people misunderstood them as a couple, and many guys looked at him with jealousy and envy, honestly can't they do something other than being jealous?

He ignored those kinds of people, and Tohru doesn't even spare a glance at them anyway, she acted like they didn't exist to her. The only humans that are worth paying attention to are precisely Kyle and his aunt.

Time passed, they bought everything that Kanna needed, and she was very satisfied and happy at the same time both of Tohru and Kyle stopped holding hands.

Tohru was the most disappointed one, if it's possible she wanted them to hold hands forever, however there are just things that can't last forever no to be specific there is no such thing as 'forever' nor 'Eternal'

Everything would eventually end someday, outside the mall before going home, Kyle called Tohru.

After being called, she asked him. "What is it?"

"Here." He gave her a black box at the size of a palm, she received it and opened the box her eyes widened, to her surprise it was a beautiful necklace.

"K-kyle...t-this is…?"

Kyle smiled as he looked at her, he answered. "Well..you were looking at it for quite some time before, so I thought you'd want it so I ended up buying the necklace...am I right? If not then...my bad."

"No, no! I wanted this thank you so much... since you bought it for me I'm very happy." She held the necklace gently as if it was the most precious thing in the world, she was happy she was glad that she fell in love with him, she continued.

"Uhmm...I have a request, will hear me out?"

"Sure, what is it?" He immediately nodded.

"C-can you put this necklace in my neck?" She asked him with a shy tone.

"I'd be happy to do so, it's just a small matter." With that Tohru passed the necklace, and Kyle received it and gently put the necklace on her neck.

"Done! You look more attractive with that." He nodded in satisfaction, it was his real thoughts he did really think that the necklace is suitable for Tohru's appearance.

The necklace had a huge ruby in the middle of the necklace, of course it's fake there is no way he could buy a real one, it's not like he couldn't afford it either, it's just he couldn't explain where the money came from.

He couldn't just say he won it on a lottery, it isn't just simple as that what if his aunt would ask for the receipt, his aunt wasn't a fool.

He is just waiting for the right time to say the truth of owning 10% of Shinomiya Group Stocks, there is a time for that he couldn't just say it out of nowhere or else his aunt would get suspicious and will ask him endless questions which would become quite a pain.

Kyle wasn't against telling the truth to Tohru, since she probably knows that he was lying before, however she didn't tell Kobayashi about it.

The Meru excuse that he made, and he was grateful for it.

Tohru blushed at his compliment, and replied. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, now let's go home?"

"Mhm! Let's do that." Only she knows how happy she is today, from the moment she was born this was probably the happiest day of her life.

After that Kanna, Kyle and Tohru went back home. Tohru was happily cooking their dinner happily.

Seeing Tohru act like this, Kobayashi couldn't help but whisper to Kyle. "Hey! Tell what happened? Tohru seems very happy?"

He really doesn't want to tell his aunt about it, and he replied awkwardly. "It's a long story…"

Kobayashi slammed the table near her, and exclaimed. "Who cares! Just spill the beans!"

Seeing his aunt like this, he knows that he couldn't refuse her anymore, he sighs and answers. "Alright, fine...what happened is.."

Kyle explained what happened before, he did his best explaining it or else his aunt would let him repeat explaining it again, so he didn't explain it in a half-assed way.

After some time, he finished explaining everything and he swears that he saw his aunt's glasses flushed with light, this strange phenomenon is unexplainable to him until now, he saw this many times and couldn't tell how the hell would their glasses generate light!

However one thing he knows is that whenever someone's glasses light up, they are planning something.

Kobayashi stared at him smiling. "Hohoho~ I see you held hands and asked her to a date, I understand then Kai-chan when is the date?"

"Well...I don't know I don't have a plan yet." He honestly answered.

Kobayashi touched her glasses, and excitedly replied. "Leave the planning to me! I'm an expert when it comes to this!"

"What nonsense are you saying? As far as I know you've been single for all your life what expert? That's bullsh-" Before he could even finish his words, his aunt slapped his head.

"Shut up! Will ya?! Okay I admit I've been single in my whole damn life, however I'm still older than you! Besides you're also single ever since the day you were born!"

"Heh, indeed I am single but at least for now!" He did it with a smug expression.

That's how confident he is and his confidence made his aunt irritated, however she quickly calmed down because she knew that he was telling the truth after all she could tell that Tohru is deeply in love with her nephew, it's just a matter of time till they become a couple.

"Sigh~ do you want me to help you or what not?"

Kyle immediately answered. "Yes, please!"

"Alright, listen here."

Kobayashi gave him a few ideas of dates plans, amongst the plan he immediately chose the most ordinary and normal one, going into an amusement park.

He chose this because he remembered something from his past life. Tohru lives a harsh and cruel life, she never once has anything normal.

So his idea is to make Tohru feel like living like a normal girl. After that Tohru arrived with several dishes, each dish are looking majestic since she poured all of her happiness into cooking this.

Tohru smiled brightly and said "Dinner is served, please enjoy."

At this moment, they felt that Tohru is like a genuine maid. She looks more attractive than usual, probably because she is in a very good mood right now.

After dinner, Kyle told Tohru when is the day of the date, hearing this from him Tohru felt like fainting due to happiness.

So their date is set on the day after tomorrow.
