This should be info from last episode so it shouldn’t be a spoiler but a random fact, back during the E-Soul Anniversary interview in Episode 5 (last episode) that Yang Chang attended, they showed the application paper along with the info/requirements it has like a proper application. Crunchyroll did not translate it, but a fan did. It basically gave more info and context about Old E-Soul, like what the other commentor says where its been 30+ years since E-Soul became a Hero. That they were hiring actors to basically show a replay of that very first event/incident that brought E-Soul to where he is now for his anniversary. (Its more detailed but I don’t remember the specifics ans I don’t want to spoil anything by accident so maybe someone else can explain it better than me)

I too thought he was gonna be the rich boy that goes crazy out of romantic jealousy and spite for Yang Cheng; turns out he was just an entrepreneur that was excited to support Yang Cheng's talent and pave his own way, he did not deserve that shit lol

Throughout the series runtime, viewers were able to vote for their favorite hero, and they also said that it would even influence season 2 little bit.

2025-10-14 20:06:30 +0000 UTCNo spoilers but yes, the Old E-Soul has been the only one, he’s been in the hero business since the start, 30+ years “After Commission” (which is also an important term to keep in mind throughout the show). We are currently in year 36 AC. Yang Cheng man…the girl tells you she’s thinking about it means she’s giving you a chance! XD
