Wayyyyyyy too much to type... all my thoughts and questions and "wtf like how" moments are at the end of the episode after the ED music. Mannnnn what a wild trip this is to watch.
I can only imagine how valuable the rewatch is. LOL to the country bumpkin sub titles, that was pointed out in a comment yesterday. It seems stronger now π

It's actually purposeful with the country dialect getting stronger and stronger. Because shin has been away for 2 years, he starts off talking normally. But the more and more he loops in the island where everybody talks country, he slowly also starts developing an accent too.

2025-10-11 04:10:57 +0000 UTCI honestly really love the southern syle subtitles, it makes sense, cause it's pretty much 1 to 1 to how city guys (in this case Tokyo with no dialect) perceive country style of talking (Osaka with Kansai dialect)

2025-10-11 00:11:49 +0000 UTCRewatching the show has been really great, especially when looking for clues and seeing like with Shinpei Shadow. Like wondering if they had shown any signs of him getting replaced before that scene (like if he had worn different clothing, which they didn't because his Shadow as we saw, "updated" their clothing to be like Shin so as a viewer, we wouldn't be able to know at all regardless) but know that a Shadow version of him did exist because they did it show him getting flashed by the light. The accent stuff with the subtitle does definitely gets out of hand though, like its nice to show that they have their regional accent, but they didn't need to make every text/speech of the subtitles be like that >_<.
