Every other line it feels like there's is either a weird or slightly wrong translation and occasionally the dialogue is just completely changed for no reason. This isn't even a case of localization, it's just really poor work it seems like. The problem is most people who use subs obviously can't notice these issues unless it's blatantly obvious that a line doesn't make sense, so Netflix just doesn't care I guess.

2025-08-20 00:29:45 +0000 UTCI've noticed the subtitles are kind of off in spots. For example, at 9:00. The three lines he says are like: "You're so cute, I couldn't help it". (He's basically saying he was looking at her in a sexual way). "Being seen that way by a friend must have been unpleasant for you." "Sorry" That's why she responds saying she is actually happy that he looked at her that way. But the subtitles say something about him not wanting other people to see her, which is completely unrelated to what's happening. That's kind of unfortunate, although the viewer can still pretty much understand what's happening from the context.
