2025-04-18 03:56:27 +0000 UTCI think 2010 is a big turning point for anime. A lot of 2012-13 anime resembles what we have today in 2025 than it does to to mid 2000s anime. The aesthetic, vibe, animation techniques and use of CG and a big one of course was that this was a time before everything was in HD; really makes you nostalgic for that reason.

2025-04-16 22:27:45 +0000 UTCAs a 1997 kid, if you tell me this is from 2004 my mind would react like: "oh this anime is from like a decade ago" but then I realize the year we're in lol. But yeah, seriously speaking, animes from before 2010 feel old because of how they generally look. Anything after to now and probably from now on wont feel any different in general. It's like Videogame graphics, we've already reached a level that's very hard to improve. I don't see animation quality improving in a drastic way in the near future. Hell, you could even say there's more garbage now than before because of how shitty the industry became. I saw an announcement recently of an anime assisted by AI π
