2025-11-14 06:40:03 +0000 UTCThe thing about the Hue scan is that its just a measurement. It tells you that someone is mentally distressed, and to which degree. But not in what way. So people with similar bad Hues can have very different problems. One might just be so stressed they get depressed, and the other might act out violently. Without the Sibyl system to processes the hue and that specific persons circumstance, its not a useful tool to say anything other than they're not having a good time. In short, at the facility. They have the tools to do the measurement, but not the computer to use it in a meaningful way.

If a stray cat attacks me, then another, then another, then another, learning from my own personal experience will cause me to spread misinformation about stray cats. I agree with this quote, as a society we will not get anywhere if everyone learns from experience alone due to a lack of understanding each other. Experience is important but it's the thing that most directly influences people so I think the societal weight on it is too much (to get nerdy and meta lol, people learned a lot from their experience and they personally felt real growth which causes a lot of biased positive advocacy for the concept when there might be better ways to learn out there),
