I love Baccano too but it would be more difficult for him to put together the jigsaw pieces of the story because of the one episode per week format. Baccano is better watched when binged or in chunks.

2025-03-30 13:35:03 +0000 UTCI know there is a big push for you to eventually watch overlord, but honestly, I personally wouldn't bother. I don't think you would enjoy it outside of its premise alone. World building has breadth but very little depth, many of the core cast are not particularly interesting (even after 4 seasons) and the adaptation is frequently straight up bad at times from both an animation and pacing stand point. I enjoy aspects of the show, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Definitely check it out if it looks interesting to you it's pretty damn good. The closest comparison I can think of would be Banana Fish. Love the Trails PFP btw.

The followup seasons are optional and you can always wait and see how you feel after the first season is wrapping up.
