I subscribed so I could watch your reaction to Bocchi and was interested in whatever this was. Turns out pretty bad, if the DAD tier is just Tony torture some people need therapy.

2025-07-01 12:55:14 +0000 UTCKonosuba is like laugh out loud funny series, but I just really enjoy the idea that the entire time Cid is basically just ad libbing and role playing, and he doesn't understand that everything is real, but by pure coincidence all of his BS that he spills just trying to play his part is actually real, but he never figures that out. Like that idea is funny to me, even if what's actually happening in this show rarely made me laugh, I just enjoyed viewing what was going on through that lens. Glad you at least seemed to enjoy the music a lot though even if the comedy didn't really land for you

2025-03-20 19:40:03 +0000 UTCYou were saying a lot (throughout the show as whole) that the fact that you know it's a parody took away from enjoying the show, but I think you've either been presented the wrong idea or misunderstood someone in thinking that it's all just comedy - and so you stopped yourself from enjoying it even at times when in actuality it was taking itself seriously and playing things straight. This is not a criticism, I think it's a totally understandable reaction for someone who hasn't consumed a lot of these shows - it can be hard to tell when the parody part is supposed to be and when the serious part is supposed to be
