Jhoes Venture Part 4 Ep 39

Woah, we finally got here to the end of part 4.
That ending sequence was pretty epic.
I think the most impactful part was the type of cinematic scoring used for that ending sequence of music. We MUST take a listen to that outta that context of the anime to really hear what is going on. Ending thoughts are at the end of this episode.
This journey has been so weird and a ton of fun. Looking forward to the next parts

Jhoes Venture Part 4 Ep 39

Comments

It is cool to note that because the JoJos manga is so old, it inspired a lot of anime/manga and was probably the first in a lot of ways to do certain things, thus inspiring others. And the animation team did a stellar job adapting it

Bjorn Knudson

Part 4 is one of my favorite animated parts along with 5 and 2. However I really look forward to Part 7 when it is animated bc SBR and Jojolion are my favorite Manga parts.

Rem is best waifu

He will probably watch the part 4 OVAs first, but yeah, Part 5 is great, can't wait.

LegionaresCZ

idk which piece you were referring to, but the music wiki is always available here: https://jojowiki.com/List_of_Music_Tracks_by_Episode/Season_3:_DU

SKAOG

probably the funniest way a villain could have died

SKAOG

Good stuff! Happy that you're progressing through the story, personally Part 4 might be my favourite, not to take anything away from the other Parts

SKAOG

rip pepsi references

Yesssss!! Part 4 is insane for having a serial killer as a villain. Kudos to Araki for writing this in the 90s. For the music 🙌 - The amazing score at the end is Tabibitotachino Kikan It's also at the end of Part 3 when the crusaders say goodbye at the airport. Honestly one of the best things Yugo Kanno has made (he is the music composer for part 3, 4, 5 and 6). - At the end, after that you can hear Great Days Units Ver. sung by the singers from the three previous parts in the beginning. Maybe i'm weird but I find it so touching! Here's the link: https://youtu.be/_WJ9DZYOo1c?si=bWBCumQAxLJu4UU6 For the points you made at the end: - Josuke's pose at the end is a nod to the manga 🕺 - I agree with you on the quality of the music. I love JoJo's story as a whole, but I also think the quality of the music (and the animation, etc) really enhances the quality of the whole show. - I understand you may have bias towards JoJo, but one of the comments said that JoJo is enjoyable because it is unapologetically stupid. It is sometimes over the top, but the motivations of the characters are never down played and they take their goals very seriously. (also the MUSIC please!! 😫🙌) I hope this message reached you and that it helped!

Kira is my favorite villain in JoJo so far, prob my top 10 favorite villains of all time to be honest Only ruined by his Dad (or grand pa? i dont care the person in the polaroid is so annoying)

Fuji Nami

im so excited omg! the next part is my absolute favorite so i hope you enjoy it!!

Sarah

Tony. If you were hired as a music director of an anime, what genres would you want to explore at first? Would you be picky about hiring composers?

Walt D

onto what is hopefully a quieter part

TheGoblerTrainsMovinIn

Oh yeah, the version of Great Days playing at the end is sung by everyone involved with JoJo OP's up until this point. Starting from TOMMY who sang the very first OP. You can find it on YouTube as "Great Days UNITS ver"

A serial killer being killed by an ambulance is top tier irony.

A37

Yep, it's a short series of OVA's related to Part 4.

A37

To your comment on why JoJos feels different - It really does have it's own identity compared to a lot of other anime imo. With how Araki wrote it and David Production adapted it it puts it in this weird, but good, realm of its own

Andrew Bradbury

That's the OVA name?

DrumRollTony

🤣 The comment from Kira about Mona Lisa is still one of the funniest moments in Part 4. In character for him, yet so unexpected. And as an additional reminder, "Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan" can be found on Netflix.

Jet Man

Part 4 is such an iconic era of Jojo’s. Part 5 is my favorite so I’m looking forward to that
