I love that idea of making a top 10 of where the ending/opening does not match the anime at all. The ending of season 1 of made in abyss defintly is also like that. Maybe some of the chainsaw endings as well Dorohedoro ending 3 is also just weird for the anime. The ending of Ranma 1/2 could also maybe be that?

The first one is a female singer saying "Please, come back soon", and this ending is a male voice singing, "I swear I'll come back to you". It's like such a cute ballad-conversation, one that still feels out of place, but right at home at the same time.
