I have to say, though, that I really like the OP for this season. Lisa's brilliant as always and the music is awesome. Felix's rap does feel out of place though, but I've found that if I just treat it as a part of the instrumental, and not lyrics, I do enjoy what it adds because it does sound pretty good together with everything else.

The scent of hunters being different from Jinwoo is confirmation that the Player is not seen the same by more than the just the monsters eyes.

2025-02-05 23:33:41 +0000 UTCThe guild leader is an S-rank, also known as the strongest S-rank in korea atm. He's on the main strike force. That's why i think Cha Hae-in should lead the B team. If both teams have S-ranks they're much more likely to complete dungeons without anyone dying.

2025-02-05 16:19:54 +0000 UTCOne of the S-Ranks isn’t officially an S-Rank though so that doesn’t work. The association is clearly doing everything they can to not reveal Jinwoo. Cha Hae is the only S rank on the first strike team with the secondary team being led by Son Kihoon an A ranks.

2025-02-05 06:25:21 +0000 UTCthere are still threats that can end an S rank, i disagree thatd itd be safer for both teams, itd make one safer and the other more vulnerable, seeing as S ranks are so few in number it makes sense to strengthen that team up even more so that the chance of losing them is even lower. I.E you dont use your strongest weapons durability on weak monsters you use it on the strong ones, and if you have something that lowers the durability cost youd of course put it on the strongest weapon you have, not the secondary one

For Solo Leveling it's on top of a full Sawano style track and it doesn't help that Sawano has this thing with including English lyrics (or other languages) that just are unnatural for anyone that speak english and makes this rap sound even more clunky. At least put some native english speaker make the lyrics or make Felix write some Korean lyrics or something.

Perhaps because it got better at building its hype factor or because we are moving past some of the "new power" discovery stages and onto other things. I know other shows have had similar setups to Solo Leveling, but execution and presentation matter, and it excels in its delivery. Looking forward to the next episode.

2025-02-05 00:45:11 +0000 UTCYou said you don't know if you would like the manhwa. Why don't you try google which chapters the episode covers, then try to read those chapters. Even if only once, just to compare. The manhwa is colored unlike manga and the artstyle is AMAZING. The adaptation is very faithful, but there are some things that are better in the manhwa. For example the status windows is easier to read and understand. Not only that but they pop up more often, so you get more updates on what lvl he's currently at, what his stats looks like, what lvl his skills are and what bonus effect he gets from gear etc. Like the gloves he equipped in the job change quest made more sense in the manhwa when he grabbed Igris's sword with his bare hands. Because the effect from the gloves said that it prevents all hand injuries while equipped.

2025-02-05 00:10:07 +0000 UTCWhat makes no sense to me is that the hunters guild have two S-ranked hunters and both of them are on the A team. If i was the guild master i would put the other S-rank in charge of the B team. That would make it much safer for both teams to explore dungeons.
