He got slashed by Alexia and is covered in blood but that pink haired girl still finds it romantic that he helped her. Most likely a parody of the typical rom-com trope. Also this is not so much cringe but weird to understand a few things for someone who hasn't really seen a lot of animes.

If you watch when he starts releasing the purple energy he puts a wall between the blast and her.. also what's the other way around? She stabbed him because he turned her down That's why he was bloody
