2025-01-23 05:08:35 +0000 UTCI haven't watched this in many years. I've since played Melty Blood: Type Lumina, a fighting game. I knew Tsukihime (the visual novel Melty Blood is based on) and Fate were in the same universe, but it's still interesting seeing the stuff they have in common like the church executors. I kind of noticed it when we saw Kirei fighting before. He and the executors shown here use the same daggers that Ciel uses in Melty Blood.

2025-01-22 22:34:05 +0000 UTCThis episode and next are some of my favorite in the series. It's such a cool sidestep from the main story and it's absolutely heartbreaking to see Kiritsugu's backstory. It adds a lot to his character for the point of going back to the main story
