Oh heyyyy let's all get SAD 😭😭
That episode was rough, but just in the emotional part of being rough.
Outstanding episode as far as the story goes and stays true to amazing delivery.
Gotta look at puppy videos now to reset LOL

I think Victor Christ sounds better than Jesus Victor

It's true the production of Arcane cost Riot a ton of money, but they had that money because of the microtransactions in the game. So this was intended to be a way to give back to the community, and not as an advertisement to sell more skins, though who can say if the intention will continue into the future. It did bring a lot more eyes onto the IP, even if not represented in the player count, the general interest around Riot and its works/events has increased.

Ryo

Have you seen my schedule?? Lol

DrumRollTony

Get your tissues ready Tony more to come maybe 🤔

Med-_-Kit-_-

Well I’m caught up with your reaction and from seeing your reaction from season 1 episode 1 to now I’m glad your enjoying this show because it get more Amazing

Med-_-Kit-_-

Then I misread. Arcane’s producer mentioned in twitter they did infact lose money but it was to give back to the community.

skrrt

.... you said they lost money... other person said the produced with game revenue. That's not the same thing

DrumRollTony

Both of us are right. Arcane failed to drive enough new traffic to the game, but it did please the current fanbase. Strictly speaking, they lost ALOT of money on this but you could also think of it as an investment to keep the existing fanbase happy. Here are the avg monthly playercounts if you’re interested 2023 151 million 2022 152 million 2021(Arcane release) 149 million

skrrt

I dont know how you do these episodes one week at a time tony. I dont have that kind of discipline.

guapaholic

Both of you are saying things that are exact opposite. Which one is true???

DrumRollTony

Not everything needs to make a profit to be successful. I haven't played League since 2016 but I still wholly appreciate this series that came out of it, and I am happy that League is still thriving. Riot has said that they are able to make Arcane because of skin sales in game, not the other way around. And if they keep coming out with stuff similar to Arcane, I'm inclined to believe them. It's a great way to give back to the community that has supported them over the years.

Ryo

You get a lot of answers coming up. I keep watching this show and keep crying.

Brendan Coen

My favorite ep of the whole show

TheGoblerTrainsMovinIn

probably my favorite arc in the show. But as it's been said like 3 times here already. Look forward to episode 7. It's such an amazing trip

Marthan

Little tidbit to make you feel just a bit more emotions, at the end when Isha triple loaded the gun with the crystals to create that big ass explosion, that's exactly what Jinx did back in Season 1 when she was trying to rescue Vander originally that caused her and Vi to split up. They both end up doing the exact same things.

BlakStatik23

Fun fact, Riot lost money on producing these 2 seasons because most Arcane viewers knew how much of a shithole the real game is. It basically became a meme at that point.

skrrt

cant believe we are almost onto the last act. Yeah this show really suddenly guts you every now and then but we dont mind cause it looks so good. looking forward to ep 7, definitely my fav

aramis alfons

The watercolor animation segment was insane. Everybody would have been fine if they did the whole show in the same style but they kept throwing curve balls because they felt like it

Hermit

AAAAAAAAAA! Yes this episode the probably my second favorite of the series. Everything just finally comes to a head. But the next one takes the cake for me full send

Avalon

Go watch a cringy anime to distract you lol
