No comment under the ep says a lot even tho i only watched fate once and don’t even know what happens in the episode. I assume it’s a heavy dialogue ep lol.

I actually quite like this episode even though I do understand why some find it boring. It's basically the turning point for Kirei so I find this back and forth really interesting.

This dynamic works cause this is a prequel that was written assuming you already know gilgamesh and kirei that you would be interested in them. People already know whats going to happen to these characters so watching how it happened is the appeal here.

It's why I'm more fond of the other story even though they have just as much conversations, but that just fate in a nut shell. Out of this world character, and fights, but a lot of talking that only half the fans find fascinating

Yeah the long dialogue (there's been at least 2-3 full episodes worth over the series) centered around Kirei developing his motivations is definitely my least favorite part of the show. That can work when you're dealing with a villain with relatable motivations, but with Kirei it's basically just a lot of talking to work towards him accepting that he enjoys and wants to act on being a sadist. He's such an alien character that time spent understanding him tends to feel wasted.
