The movie is an 1h 30m so watching it in two sittings would put each video at 45ish minutes which is what the Konosuba videos already tend to be anyways. Even three 30 minute videos would be cool. Honestly just whatever works best for you.

@DrumRollTony Reacts don't know whether to laugh or cry, you've finally gotten so big that you get the full flavor of the anime community, but that means you get the FULL flavor of the anime community lol. also there are grown people who enjoy the story for what it is, maybe not as much as SOME but the story can be good, however in regards to character growth, it may be common, but some do it better than others. but everyone is allowed there own opinions lol, this is YOUR reactions to anime and not everyone is going to enjoy the same things, honestly i like it because it gives another perspective, whether i agree or not lol. PS/also i thought you could only comment on patreon's that you were subbed too?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Saying an upcoming episode is considered "the greatest episode of anime" sets an impossible expectation for when he eventually watches the episode. Especially for a show he has generally not really rocked with up until said episode, even if he ends up enjoying it, if it is anything less then the greatest piece of anime he has ever watched then he's been set up for disappointment. Also not to say nobody feels this way, but I've never heard anyone refer to episode 18 as "the greatest episode of anime". When the show aired that episode made the show "popular" because of how memed it was.

Oh 100% I binged 25/65 of FMAB in probably the span of a week. Because of this i could clearly see the characters and world building developing and remember all the little things and callbacks that enhance the story. Plus it’s easier to care about characters when you are constantly seeing them develop rather than watching 2eps a week. Again this isn’t Tony’s fault as it’s just the nature of Patreon. As for a replacement feel like Tony just needs something chill after this. I feel like he’d rather enjoy Shangri La Frontier with all the video game aspects and animation that looks really good. HXH should probably be after Jojo honestly since it’s not as recent

I made a comment on episode 14, but I think there's no point in Tony watching these types of anime (FMAB, Re:Zero) largely because of the way it's currently being consuming it. These are best watched binged so that you remember what's going on and remain immersed, because they focus more on world building, overarching plot and memory of previous episodes than being filled with individual action/drama dense episodes that can stand alone by themselves (JoJo, OPM). I think members should be aware of this and try to not recommend similar anime so that it doesn't waste his time. (Moment to shill Hunter x Hunter as a replacement if he drops Re:Zero)

I don't think Tony is coming around to it. Looking forward to the next few episodes, but I don't know how hard they hit, when the viewer doesn't care for any of the characters.

ill just say it now not to be named captain hindsight later i dont think ep 18 is any good and s2 is one of the most boring things ive experienced in anime(took me like a year to finish it)...the only people the show is relatable are tbh losers who would want to have a different life with a harem of girls( have you noticed how many young petite girls are in the show and that number will increase a lot btw) at their disposal if youre looking for some real good anime a recent gem would be orb on the movements of earth

Since you're checking out the 2hr movie of Violet Evergarden, that serves as the official conclusion to the story btw. Meaning the other movie (which if I recall is about 90 minutes) is essentially a long form episode that takes place before the 2hr movie, but is its own thing, and can be watched at a later time, or if you feel satisfied with what the 2hr movie provides, can be skipped. Though if you enjoyed Violet Evergarden as a whole, then it can be considered at a later time just for some extra content. After which you'd be 100% complete with that show

I think I would want to make it to ep 18 just to see what folks consider the "greatest episode of anime". Did people watch this when they were 15 and like.. related to the main character? Is that the pull? It has to be something like that. The amount of comments I get about "its about character growth" as if that is some RARE and unique style of writing in any form of media... LOL. That is most shows. Is bro gonna have legit character growth on the level of Walter White??? If so.. maybe I need to stick around

I am bit curious of what your plan for Konosuba is. I assume the OVA then the Movie. Do you plan to jump right into S3 afterwards or do the Megumin Spin-Off that came after the movie and before S3?
