One thing I didn't see others mention with the blood memory stuff, is that in addition to all demons having Muzan's blood in them, he rewards top performing demons with even more of his blood to make them even more powerful, so an upper rank would have a much larger amount of his blood in them than the average demon. This is also why Tamayo (the demon healer that charged Tanjiro with collecting demon blood to potentially find a cure for his sister) said he needed to collect specifically Upper Rank demon blood samples because they have more of Muzan's blood in them. Oh and why is sis so strong? That's meant to be surprising, so it's good be aware of how odd it is that she's that strong.

In a way you could sort of say there's really only one demon and every one we see is just an extension of Muzan's body

Upper ranks have the ability to also turn others to demons but I assume their concentration of Muzan’s blood is lower than that coming directly from him. However, as Nezuko’s inexperienced and only fights on demon instinct she has her limits.

2024-12-16 19:31:48 +0000 UTCAll the demons in this show have the Micheal Jackson look alike character known as Muzan blood in their bodies as that is how he is not only able to turn regular humans into demons but also grant them powers such as their regeneration and each of them a unique set of powers known as demon arts. So what that demon was experiencing was the reaction that the demon blood in her body was reacting to the main characters speech and mannerism that invoked some dormant memories of the past of Muzan. So the memories were not her own but of the owner of the blood that courses through her body that turned her into a demon. So in addition into turning into demons the blood also allows them to experience some of Muzan's memories. The character that we kept seeing that looked like the main character's dad is separate character from the past that has a similar resemblance to the main character and his father
