lol, at the end of this episode i had the opposite problem of the last, where the show was so loud i could barely hear tony, dont know enough about audio mixing to even begin to try to guess why

It doesn't make sense to go in SO hard on time travel mechanics but then to include food and gender. Like hello? I just personally find that comical. You didn't get one thing, it simply transfers to the next ep and you repeat your question again in a new form and so on. The impact is next: she, the mother, received some strange msg "eat veggies for a healthy child" and started eating more vegetables. That turns out to have affect on Ruka's gender.

2024-12-03 05:09:20 +0000 UTCREMARKs: 1) About time limitation of PhoneWave. 1 sec on PhoneWave timer = 80 min to the past for DMail. Max value of timer is 99999 secons = aprox 15 years for DMail. For sending Ruka's DMail they connected PhoneWave to PC and set timer there, because Ruka's DMail should have traveled around 17 years to the past. But Kurisu meant not that when she said "we can only send DMails in certain times". She meant that DMails are working only in timeperiod from 12:00 to 18:00 - they found it out experimentally in previous episodes. That's because it is the time, when 42-inch TV in Braun's shop is on. This TV is working as a lifter for PhoneWave. That's actually what they were talking about - smth is working as a lifter for PhoneWave, but so far they have no clue what is that. They will find it out in EP 11. 2) About your confusion aroud 13:50, that you thought that Moeka stole IBN from shrine. You forgot about Ruka's DMail. It cancelled effect of Moeka's DMail. Let me exaplain sequence of events taking place before and after already sent DMails (e.g WL shifts): Before Moeka's DMail: Faris father donated IBN to shrine -> IBN stored in shrine -> Okabe just got it from Ruka's father After Moeka's DMail: Faris father donated IBN to shrine -> IBN stored in shrine -> Moeka stole it because she now knows the location -> Moeka never joined FGL, nobody from the lab remembers her After Ruka's DMail: Ruka born as a girl -> Faris father donated IBN to shrine -> Ruka broke IBN while cleaning the shrine, they dispoed the PC -> Moeka didn't find IBN in shrine -> Moeka joined the lab cause she needs info on IBN5100, so everybody remembers her After Faris DMail: Faris father sold IBN to get ransom money for his daughter -> Moeka joined the lab cause she needs info on IBN5100 It's easier represent graphically, some charts we already have on discord. 3) About complexity of the concept from creator's point of view. The show, as already said, exploits some things from quantum mechanics for representing world structure but it's simply someone's area of occupation/expertise. Having a good consultor in team or being the one yourself is actually about MAGES (S;G creators). And the theory I'm using for S;G, is not just random fan-theory. It's created by a guy who also has such level of expertise - he's a PhD holder in Physics. MAGES has entire series of VNs and materials called "Science Adventure" and S;G is only 2nd entry there. They just do cool stuff correlated with area of expertise of some people in team. Sorry if it's confusing to read my posts in Discord but it's maximum I can do to contribute in building a full picture of S;G. Hope it's helpful! PS and about the content of Feris DMail, she sent smth like: "I kidnapped your daughter. Ransom is 1 mln yen. Take a train." Thus she saved her father from dying in aircraft incident in 2000.
