The spinoff was not that great in my opinion. It focuses on Megimin's backstory. Megumin is funny as a character because she plays off of Kazuma, but without him, it's just the same joke for an entire season.

2024-11-29 22:26:18 +0000 UTCThe first and second season are 10 episodes each but with an OVA each so 11, then a movie and finally the third season with 11 episodes which was released this year. There is also a spin-off focused on Megumin (Explosion!!) with 12 episodes but that one is optional.
