2024-11-23 23:58:16 +0000 UTCso theres some interesting analytical videos out there on arcanes main themes, and one of the biggest and most interesting imo is the loneliness of a person correlating with how much of a scientist they are. It fluctuates throughout the show but many examples of when a scientist is more socially involved they become less focused on achievement and progress and vice versa. this scene is such a great comparison on the different axis and how these two have gone such seperate directions. Once upon a time they were both in the same range of social vs science and now they both exist at the opposite ends. one is deeply involved in politics and his connections while the other throws connections away for his progress. its super cool, and worth looking out for in future eps.

Music that we believed to be part of the show production only, but then the band showed up and seemed to be the source within the storytelling, even if by a small amount. Although, nobody really seems to acknowledge the band. 😅 Just thought to point it out in case it was unfamiliar to anyone.

2024-11-07 22:13:19 +0000 UTCprobably the only sex scene in media (that I know) that truly adds a lot to the series, the juxtaposition of their lives, the Victor scene is cool enough on its own but it's actually elevated by the comparison. Still wouldn't watch it with my parents though.
