2024-11-07 20:23:51 +0000 UTCOne of my nitpicks with this show is the sound design for the "live performances". They sound very... studio like. And I dont mean like the performance. I mean things like the vocals being very dry, like, this is supposed to be outside, where's the reverb? lol. Compare this to Bocchi's live performances and they sounds more natural based on what's on screen.

2024-11-07 20:14:39 +0000 UTCI know you've said plenty of times you don't have time for movies, especially with a crazy packed schedule like this weeks but if you ever somehow found yourself wanting to squeez one in or even just wanted to watch a movie in your free time I cannot recommend Blue Giant enough. This show made me think of it since the plot isn't actually too different from it with the main character being a guy in his late teens moving to the big city to pursue a career in jazz. Great story, incredible animation and phenomenal music.
