I think it might be helpful to know that servants are so physically strong and durable that all conventional human weapons are completely harmless to them. Servants can basically only be harmed by other servants, with some rare exceptions using specific magic in specific circumstances. So Kiritsugu's conventional weapons are only potentially useful against other masters.

You are def not getting that version after export AND Patreon scaling videos down tho. I just looked at the export of the reaction vs what I am watching. They are def not equal. I am not going to have it take 45 mins to export a huge file size, that is crazy... Ill never get the amount of reactions up.

They get even better from here and the series after this, Unlimited Blade Works has even more insane fights, if you can believe that. And if it hasn't been mentioned yet, Ufotable is the same studio that animated Demon Slayer. They really know how to animate fights well.

Otherwise its a personality thing how a master-servant relationship works. Theres a reason why masters need the command seals. Also yeah the fights and animations of ufotable are pretty unique. This came out 2011 and its one of the best animationwise with the other fate stuff beside it.

Plus it doesn't cut out usefull dialogue/scenes. ex. multiple episodes cut out like 7-9 minutes. And the translation is subpar and some scenes are compeletly censored... pls. it will be worth it.

2024-10-07 22:46:44 +0000 UTCIf by the end of Fate Zero (released in 2011) you still want to continue with Fate UBW (2014, 2nd season in release order), the animation will be even more insane. Heaven's feel movies (2017, 2019, 2020) were the most recent adaptations of Fate by ufotable and those had god tier animation (comparable in quality to later seasons of demon slayer which is also animated by ufotable)

The only time Servants have to follow an order their Master gives them is if the Master uses 1 of their 3 command spells on their hand. Once the command spells are gone, the Servant can obey or disobey as they please.

2024-10-07 22:16:48 +0000 UTCThe servants are/were people so they have autonomy to do what they want. Some are more free-willed or hardheaded than others because that's just their personality. The one thing that keeps a servant in check is the three tattoos on the master's hand they can use to impose any rule on the servant (and the fact that the master and servant theoretically have the same goal)
