Is it just me or was this rap battle way better sounding than the ones before. Sure Kongming's verse from some episodes ago was purposefully very stiff because he rapped like a Chinese poet but both performances here including Kabe sounded much more legit - not perfect - but much more legit than during his intro arc.

You might consider the first popular example of this kind of story to be Alice in Wonderland. I suppose you could call "Ya Boy Kongming" an Isekai, but perhaps it would be more accurate to call it a type of Reincarnation story. This is because at the start of Episode 1, he died at the end of his natural life. And even though he perceives it to be a different world, it is the same Earth, but in a new location and different time period. We, the viewer, still recognize it to be our world in the modern times.
