This opening really grew on me a ton as well, I wasn't sure I really liked it at first. It ended up being one of my favorites though by the time I finished though

2024-07-11 16:28:31 +0000 UTCprobably a super out there suggestion but, 'welcome to demon school iruma kun' is a really fun and much lighter goofier show if you're looking for smth to balance the palate out! the music is a little different and the art style extremely vibrant haha A few other suggestions although not as goofy or light hearted, Trigun: Stampede, Hells Paradise and Noragami are worth looking into for shorter ones with a lot of heart

2024-07-10 19:26:39 +0000 UTCI’m seeing a lot of Dorohedoro in here and I have to agree. It’s a compact, 12 episode season that’s been confirmed to be getting a second season in the near future, the music is fantastic, and it has a different E.D every 3-4 episodes. Definitely worth checking out.

2024-07-10 19:12:48 +0000 UTCI feel like the dislike was from a very loud minority. All the reactors i've seen also enjoyed kaiju so your not alone and the discussion online was pretty positive. I still prefer the manga art but the anime was very enjoyable to watch especially for the action scenes and music. Ready for S2!!

Currently only has 2 short seasons with a prequel coming this year. It’s got “detectives”, mystery, drama, the supernatural, cool OST, and (even though this isn’t an action series) great choreographed martial art scenes. It’s not an anime but a Chinese animated series, though I wouldn’t let that deter you because the animation and art style is awesome imo and gets better. Extremely underrated series. I found it on Funimation and couldn’t believe they had such a gem buried in their catalog! Right now I rate it an 11/10! Has a Chinese, Japanese and English dub on Crunchyroll. Honorable recommendations: -SpyxFamily. Very wholesome anime (2 seasons, S1: 24 eps, S2: 12 eps). -Sword Art Online (don’t roast me in the replies xD) -Case Study of Vanitas (1 season. great OST. Same composer for Sword Art Online. Love her music) -Bungo Stray Dogs (5, 13 episode seasons)
