Suggestions for next Anime after Delicious in Dungeon

Comments

Blue Giant, Not a show but a move. Some amazing jazz and an inspiring story about 3 young guys, who plays jazz together and have big dreams. All music was composed by Hiromi Uehara

Halaska4

Hunter X Hunter or Made in Abyss

Maggie

Banana fish the ops are by survive said the prophet and the story is immaculate its a new york gang anime

zoltar

Omg 100% yes to Inuyashiki. I love Hiroya Oku. If the Gantz anime wasn't so shit I would recommend it as well. But Inuyashiki is actually pretty well done

Fiona

Oh man I hope I can still recommend something on here. I will do it on the next post like this anyway. It's no japanese animation, but Blue Eye Samurai. Animation wise it's like Arcane, it's a bit gorey and has some explicit scenes and topics. But one of the best animated shows I've seen the past months tbh

Fiona

I already have all of kids on the slope reacted to here on patreon

DrumRollTony

? Thanks for your opinion. A lot of people would disagree with you lmao currently the 3rd movie in production with a 5th season to come. Can’t wait.

Andrew Delisle

How is overlord a good show lol. Its mostly trash tier.

Elevown

Dont just suggest stuff coz its new when most of it sucks compared to plenty of older stuff lol. I wonder if he'd like a SOL show like K-on? Or how about Kids on the Slope for some highschool jazz?

Elevown

Buddy Daddies is a short 1 season wonder that I think is extremely enjoyable and the OP is by AYASE who helped write Idol with Yoasobi

Disturbing_1

Overlord

Masao

Overlord, kinda has that d&d vibe considering all the swords, magic and species. Really good show, you have seen an opening for it too in the past.

Andrew Delisle

Undead Unluck, Spice and Wolf (2024), or Apothecary Diaries

Sam Fisher

Ever do Guilty Crown?

william watson

Blue lock, it’s a soccer anime with an interesting twist, some cool action scenes, and a killer soundtrack

Vic

fate zero

Jose Maldonado

Dead Dead Demon's De De De De Destruction (long name haha) is turning out to be pretty good so far! Though it is new and has about 4ep out now. And Ranking of Kings is great, too!

Taylor

Well we are currently in the middle of season 2 of Code Geass on here so... lol 😆

DrumRollTony

It's not anime but Arcane is worth a watch. Code Geass is also good

DRDense

That's a good one.

Jet Man

Summertime Render gets my vote

_nacnuD

I have reacted to the entire thing on here already. Check the categories 🎶🤘

Fate zero!

It has to be stein's gate. My second favorite anime of all time

Cowboy Bebop or Pluto(Netflix)

Bence Papp

Made in Abyss

Masao

Made in abyss

Land Hooman

Fate if feeling for fantasy/story. Daily Lives of High School Boys (男子高校生の日常) for comedy. Ajinn for a try at 3D anime with good storytelling and tactics. Haikyuu for a fantastic first sports anime!

P_ateric

Made in Abyss, Monster, Haikyuu or ReZero

Queen Ruka

Samurai Champloo!

Striker 52C

Erased

Lelouch Vi Britania

i think for HxH he should replace it with any anime that he spends 2 eps a week on. 1 ep a week will be way too slow. He's listened to a lot of HxH music and liked it enough that he has stated that he's now interested in watching the anime, so i think HxH is a good show. Also, it's not like he's watching only short shows, he's literally been watching JoJo with 1 episode a week, and he still has about 120 episodes left even after watching over 70 episodes

SKAOG

I think I used to think the same thing, and I used to hate waits for unfinished anime (like black clover). But as life gets busier and anime takes a side seat, it’s easier to wait. Plus u can just fill the void with more anime. I think Tony is in a position where the wait would def be tolerable

RamsessZ

flwrsinmyteeth

Mushi-shi my favorite) op's and endings and other ost sush a good pieces)

Vitaliy Kozoriz

I always feel like it's worth mentioning to people that it takes a specific mindset for Made in Abyss to be enjoyable. The entire anime effectively is built around making you feel uncomfortable and disgusted at basically everything going on on the screen. The OST slaps and it's certainly a very emotional series that is one of my personal favourites, I just think the whiplash it creates going in can be off-putting if you're not expecting that sort of anime off the bat. Coming off the back of something like delicious dungeon, I don't know if it's the best pick, just because there's already a couple shows currently on the patreon that deal with harsh themes so I'd recommend another light hearted option. Maybe something like "ya boi kongming" for the music focus or for just good comedy "grand blue" or "eminence in shadow" are always my top picks.

Y0m0three

Oh Kakegurui too

Dillan Merrill

Fire Force

Dillan Merrill

Girls Band Cry

Cary Lee

Parasyte: The Maxim!!

Aerial Ace

That's pretty fair! I didn't think of it like that. I'm sure he could make it work but it would still be a big commitment for sure. I think my second choice would be something like Soul Eater.

Sean

Inuyashiki: Last Hero is what I want you to watch the most since it's lesser known because it only came to Amazon Prime in the west when it aired, but it's a real quick roller coaster of emotions and action. There are a lot of more mature/thriller type anime out there like this but they just don't get as much mainstream attention besides their faithful smaller followings. Parasyte: The Maxim is a great option with a lot more presence in the anime community though so it would have a better chance of winning a vote. In a vote though it does seem like the more mature shows are at a disadvantage but I think Tony would appreciate more shows with darker/consistently serious tones to balance out the lighter vibes.

Nick K

HxH is a great show but that’s like a 1-2 year commitment depending on the pace you’d watch it. That’s a lot

Sam

Well for one Fire Force is unfinished and has no confirmed next season in sight, which for me is usually a reason to not recommend to someone who has still only seen a handful of anime

Nick K

Steins;Gate (followed by Steins;Gate 0)!!

Scalchop

Made in Abyss

Ryo

My main choice is Hunter x Hunter, it's truly worth the full 148 episodes even if it seems a little daunting.

Sean

Dorohedoro

Jeff

it's alright but I feel like it wouldn't really be up Tony's alley

An Nguyen

Maybe that’s for the best 💀

RamsessZ

Uncle from another world is such a good pull lol, great idea for the patreon

JoeyGuy7

Hinamatsuri: a very unique show taking place in a yakuza world with elements of technofantasy. It is mainly a comedy but it also masterfully combines it with several other genres. Great character design, colors and animation. Uncle from another world: an isekai comedy with references to the 90s pop culture

d_takada18

UBW and apocrypha is mc plot armor goes brrrrrrr Zero and heavens feel are good though

skrrt

Re:zero 100%, crazy how you havent watched an isekai yet

skrrt

I support this

Lichrin69

The original dragon ball is a great classic. Lots of music to.

rosestar999

DEMON SLAYER!

ZTQuick

Cowboy Bebop or Carole & Tuesday. Both have great music/ost.

Kevin Baker

Overlord or Fate Unlimited Bladeworks

Allen Larson

To Your Eternity has great music ost too, you should definitely check it out.

Arknight95

Fate Zero as a best rabbit hole you can jump into.

grasher134

Parasyte is short and great too

Jhon 1479

Well watching ubw first was like watching game of thrones series and then after each season history and lore lol. Watching ubw makes you wonder what exactly happened in fate zero and it drives u into the story. Then after when you start fate zero it’s like watching this amazing flashback and you already know how fate series work so you don’t have a problem with being confused which makes it even better. It’s like leaving the best for the last that’s why imo ubw before zero is the choice to make. Cherry on the top lol.

Meru Tenchin

Once again Hunter X Hunter even if you think its a bit long you will not regret it I promise

Jhon 1479

One punch man or overlord

WithoutName 98

im gonna say overlord considering its got huge mmo/dnd inspiration

zeldoor

Hellsing Ultimate! To everybody here: if you need an anime recommendation the best method I found is to just type 3x3 anime in google. I think it's a meme started by 4chan to show their tastes but it works great and better than any listicles i ever found. Take advantage of it before the mainstream (or normies) starts influencing them

Fuji Nami

Cowboy bebop for the OST In itself. The show was made by the same director and music composer as Kids On The Slope! It’s mostly Jazz and each episode is named after a famous Jazz Song.

Jay R.

Ye deffo recommend it it has everything (except comedy) lol

Meru Tenchin

Overlord

TheGoblerTrainsMovinIn

I wish everybody would watch Space Dandy. It's one of my favorite shows, period.

Thevenomous

Psycho pass season 01

Lucipurr

I second this

Harvey

Cowboy bebop, samurai champloo and space dandy are all from the same director, my personal choice of these is samurai champloo. It’s an episodic story set in the edo period of Japan with fun and unique characters, incredible action and style as well as a very chill soundtrack.

cue

True, chronology zero and then ubw makes more sense since zero teases ubw towars the end

Lichrin69

Demon Slayer shocking coming from me right? 😅

makotheQ60

Blue Lock. Football anime that you’ve done reactions to its openings before. Would be cool to see you react to it. It’s one of my personal favourites, and it’s easily digestible. Even for non-sports fans.

Naxxy

I'm gonna surprise everyone and say... Fate! (yeah i know) What you are looking for is Zero UBW (TV series NOT the movie) and Heaves Feel movies (trilogy). HF is last in any watch order and if Zero or UBW is watched first comes down to... like coin toss tbh. If you pick Fate then just go with either as both sides have 100% valid points as to which one to start with as both spoil one another in some aspects. Zero is a prequel that released after UBW but its the often starting point as its (kinda) easier starting point. The only reason I would say UBW should be watched first is because it doesnt spoil any characters true identity which only really makes it fun when you are pretty well knowledgably in history and some myths. Any other Fate spin off is up for a debate if you become proper fan and want to dive into madness that is fateverse. I also would like to recommend Made in Abyss for absolutely insane soundtrack by Kevin Penkin and 100% pure suffering and anxiety after each episode. 10/10.

Sebastian Stróż

Imagine being so wrong yet so confident. Not only not mentioning Heavens Fell movies but disregarding some other amazing spin offs. Also WHO hurt you SO MUCH?! (capitalising some words makes your point more valid right?)

Sebastian Stróż

Fate sounds epic af

DrumRollTony

Fate zero (25 episodes): Think hunger games in modern day, but the characters are all mages that command historical figures (With an anime slant of course). It's a pretty dark series that follows multiple characters and no typical cutesy anime stuff. The visuals are also insane, it's like an impressive scene from vinland saga but multiplied. Soundtrack is also epic, like video boss type of feel. Second pick is Cowboy Bebop (26 episodes): You've heard stuff from this before, it's the classic anime everyone's seen and probably loved. This is an episodic show that follows bounty hunters in space, so lots of cool set pieces and action scenes. There's a lot of extended scenes in this show where the characters just do there thing and the music takes center stage. This one is a safe bet for sure.

LewdProxy

Samurai Champloo 100% Good idea AntonJ0tm!!!

Kliera

Yo I'm back it's Space Dandy that has to be my rec. it's literally Variety the Anime you've read the interview I posted from the creator you've read my speel about in on the patreon vid of it's opening. That's my rec

AntonJ0™

Cowboy Bebop ! It's cool AF and the soundtrack is a constant delight, it's such an obvious choice for your channel lmao

Refia

Still gonna rep for Rezero, but otherwise I suggest Madoka Magica

Danyul

Fate/zero is something you will enjoy 💯

Szayel H

Yo it's ya boy coming in with the recs that go hard. PLUTO (Netflix)- detective, murder mystery about a killer robot. Samurai Champloo (DUB)- funny action packed anime about a Samurai, a thug, and a girls journey across feudal Japan. All backed by a hip Hop inspired OST Gurren Lagann - Hell yeah 😎

AntonJ0™

great rec! I definitely back this one

Yuyu

Hunter X Hunter is one of the all time greats. It has inspired authors of many other series, most notably jujutsu kaisen. You've also listened to some of its music before

Big Papi

Underrated recommendation

Sam

Apothecary diaries is an amazing pick too, it's a historical drama comedy set in imperial China, lots of plotting and detective stuff, really fun show

JoeyGuy7

Seen some Fate/Zeros in here. Fate zero and the show it’s a prequel to Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works are GREAT shows. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING else from the Fate franchise is worth your time. Those rabbid horn dogs get slop shoveled down their throat and go wild, but that shit is poopoo from a butt. If you watch, only watch those two.

Avalon

I don't think reccing what you like is bad. If we only recommended DnD style stuff we would only get that

JoeyGuy7

So not strictly an anime, but ANIMATED in the anime style is Vox Machina on Amazon. Which is the famous voice actor Matt Mercer’s famous dnd campaign animated. It’s quite swell, and obviously up your alley.

Avalon

Link Click

Highside

Honestly a great shout, casual but pretty good- forgot about it

Aidan Suttie

One punch man!!!

Frogbreathman

Ya Boy Kongming is my suggestion. I will omit the details and only mention that this anime is rather lighthearted.

Valse

Yeah so it depends roughly on what route you want to go, obviously you will end up going with the most wanted/popular option. I think it’s nice watching shows with different styles, one punch man is a good popular casual series (pretty short too). My other suggestion (although unlikely) would be steins gate, my second favourite series after Vinland. Throwing in other names Hunter x Hunter (too long maybe) and erased. Someone mentioned KongMing which is not a bad shout at all

Aidan Suttie

Agreed. People seem to be recommending whatever comes to mind without considering other factors.

Jet Man

If i had to pick between all of these I would watch HxH

AJ

Cowboy bebop is a great one, great visuals great ost great combat scene, and a good story with great characters 3-gatsu no lion One punch man Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) if you like sports there's Haikyuu Hunter x Hunter is great in general This are the one I think of

AJ

Oh man, also I just remembered Amazon Video’s The Boys Season 4 is coming back this month. Fantastic show to watch, maybe even on Patreon, though idk if ur doing non anime currently

RamsessZ

Oh, is this going to be a tier 2 Patreon only vote?

RamsessZ

For my own personal recommendations, I love Fire Force. It’s sad that I haven’t seen other people push for it, because the sound design is probably one of the best ever in anime, it’s such a treat. There are some really untasteful tropes that are holding it back, but it’s 2 seasons rn and it’s a great show. My “safe” vote for this would be demon slayer (most likely vs one punch man). Mugen train move and season 2 has been some of the best action anime I’ve ever seen. ufotable is regarded as one of the best anime studios for a reason (even more so than MAPPA).

RamsessZ

Yess! Made in Abyss such good fantasy worldbuilding

Kegs

He is going to skip episodes 100%

RamsessZ

I swear, some folks rec what they like without considering the taste of the person they are recommending to... Overlord and Made in Abyss are solid recs others have already mentioned here. Large backlog of episodes for either and not sure if you want a long commitment or not. Your interest in DND and fantasy in general make both a fun watch, though (coming from a long time dungeon master). OST for Made in Abyss is obviously amazing, lots to talk about there.

Dillon Irish

Good luck with berserk…

RamsessZ

Fate Zero

kinetic98

This would be interesting I agree, lots of random riffs spaced out in the anime

RamsessZ

Has he even watched the 1st season?

RamsessZ

Mentioned this on the discord, but I think it would be fun to have this slot be dedicated comedy anime. My top pick for that is kaguya sama,it's a rom com where both of the protagonists are geniuses in a Death Note style battle to get the other one to confess first, it's very funny. Other good comedies are nichijou, space dandy, there's a lot out there

JoeyGuy7

Always surprised to see someone recommend Ghost in the Shell: SAC. I sometimes feel like I'm the only one among this community who loves it.

Jet Man

The 4th season of Demon slayer is currently airing.

Natasha Crandall

There's a new show airing called Dead Dead Demon's Dededede destruction that is really good so far

JoeyGuy7

fate zero maybe?

dvd

Made in Abyss Demon Slayer

Sam

Neon Genesis Evangelion Tony, you cant avoid this anyway

d_swordfish

Demon Slayer is great and i would love to hear your take on some of the music that has a more traditional japanese sound.

Nightsin

I read the Fate VN back in 2011 so I have that perspective. I'm not the biggest fan of the UBW anime series, it's just fine.

Auks

Has to be Made in abyss!!!!

Gatsu

I've always thought you should watch Made in Abyss, it has some pretty disturbing moments but the story is amazing and the ost is perfect

Jonathan Valverde

This is the biggest debate with the fate series, cuz I did the opposite of what you did and made the story more comprehensive for me. Plus it's literally the release order so I never really understood watching UBW first, watching it first I would see it being way too confusing without the context of the previous Grail War 🤔

Arsenic805

Ping Pong The Animation

みずき 一志

Steins;Gate i beg you !!

Logan H

Agreed 😔

Unbeknownst Man

Some faves i have seen suggested that i will also suggest: Cowboy Bebop Samurai Champloo Psycho Pass One Punch Man Ranking Of Kings

Trowa

💯. I really think Samurai Champloo is Tony's style, but may not be the voters top pick as a whole.

Walt D

Samurai Champloo would be your cup of tea, but probably won't get the votes. Don't take my word for it. Peep a clip from episode 1 on YouTube in your spare time to verify.

Walt D

Haikyuu! or Kaiji

Lixien

I just realized he didn't react to the Apothecary Diaries, definitely worth considering. It's recent, popular, and excellent, and right now the length is perfect (it'll be harder to get into when it gets at least one more cour next January).

Stefan Nelson

Hahah, sorry! I just meant I wanted to recommend a couple of things that might be a tad "out there" by the standards of more "conservative" anime watchers. A bunch of these shows play with the alignment factor and make you second-guess some things, so I think you'd like more of that in the line-up, heheh. Cheers, Tony!

Unbeknownst Man

Yeah you're not wrong with the songs be replayed a good amount of times, still a great anime especially the last ep

kiwi

Lol the opening paragraph had me confused

DrumRollTony

Since you're still not tainted by the gatekeeping and bias that comes with exposing yourself to loads of anime, I'll leave some recommendations just based on what you might like: Parasite - The Maxim Kaiji Samurai Champloo Cowboy Bebop Dorohedoro Land of the Lustrous Devilman Crybaby Beck Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Ousama Ranking (Ranking of Kings) Trigun (Stampede) Mushi-shi There's too many to recommend, but I'll stop there since I've already listed too many, and loads of good ones are being repeated in the comments as well. Keep up the good work, mate!

Unbeknownst Man

I would like any of these: Overlord for fantasy Psycho Pass for thriller Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for mecha comedy Or Berserk 1997 if we can have two classics going at a time

Xoulium

haikyuu would be a great pick up as it’s one of the best sports anime out there which is a genre that hasn’t been visited yet and it’s got a killer soundtrack

Mohamed

Haikyu, Monster, One Punch Man

Kyle

That's a good one! Unpredictable chaos XD

Baka

lmao

Baka

Oh man, that's a cool classic one! The only downside I remember is how they play same songs over and over again in the show (which is probably more or less realistic for a touring band, right?), but show itself is very good.

Baka

Man, I want to rewatch Chihayafuru now, I love it.

Baka

/ Cowboy Bebop / Psycho-Pass / Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex / One Punch Man / Ranking Of Kings / Under Ninja / Baki Hanma /

neZiiak

I think its time for him to experience this kind of trauma

JetLife2TheNextLife

Link Click (a time traveling mystery/thriller) is awesome and I would recommend it. it’s a Chinese animated series but I wouldn’t let it deter your it is VERY good and still ongoing. The English dub is really great too. My Other non-traditional ecommendations: -Shangri-La Frontier (gaming isekai genre like Solo Leveling) -SpyxFamily -Horimiya (random but 10/10 rom com) -HIGH CARD (you’ve listened to some of its OSTs on stream) -The Gundam Build Fighters series (after Code Geass if you still want to check out some cool robot fights) -Kaguya-Sama Love is War (English Dub is a MUST WATCH)

Sarai

made in abyss, steins; gate, one punch man, Yubisaki to Renren, Zankyou no Terror, Oniichan wa Oshimai!, Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, Mushishi, Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete, Kiznaiver, Isekai Ojisan, Fumetsu no Anata e, Dororo, Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha. And best of the best Shoujo Ramune.

Vitaliy Kozoriz

I watched fate ubw first and then after i watched fate zero it made it like 10 times better.

Meru Tenchin

Cowboy bebop!

Jeff

One punch man definitely

Meru Tenchin

One punch man is so funny and I’m sure you’re gonna like it because you’re already watching mob which is from the same author. Btw it’s way more popular and it has great comedy with beautiful action.

Meru Tenchin

Maybe the currently airing Go Go Loser Ranger? It's like if Power Rangers and The Boys were mixed together. Very interesting plot so far

Chris Hee

I forgot about Talentless Nana! It's a thriller about a string of murders at a school for kids with supernatural powers.

Alberto Munoz

Out of the ones I've seen suggested so far, I second the suggestions for Demon Slayer, A Place Further than the Universe, Ranking of Kings, and Blue Lock. I really like Chihayafuru as well, but I think it may be too long. I'd also like to suggest Aoashi. Whereas Blue Lock is kind of Dragon Ball Soccer, that one is more of a sports drama. Kuroko's Basketball is also really good. That one is Dragon Ball Basketball. I also really like The Apothecary Diaries (fictional historical drama set in ancient China), Golden Kamuy (fictional action set in Japan just after the Russo-Japanese War), Raven of the Inner Palace (supernatural mystery in ancient China), Dance Dance Danseur (ballet), and Kageki Shojo (theatre). I have to give a content warning about Kageki Shojo though for sexual assault of a child. It's not done lightly or lasciviously though. I feel it gives the event the proper weight it deserves. I'll also give a content warning for Dance Dances Danseur for child abuse. I'd say it's on the level of Your Lie in April.

Alberto Munoz

i suggest Cowboy Bebop, Psycho-Pass or Black Lagoon. All rather mature with good writing.

Niklas Neumann

Thirded!

WuYixiang

Uchouten Kazoku ReCreators Mushi-shi

Jc

na bro, he is not ready...

Niklas Neumann

One punch man or ranking of kings would go hard.

MrSauceManJoe

Demon slayer or fate zero/ubw

Meru Tenchin

I agree

Meru Tenchin

Gonna go weird and suggest Akiba Maid War, if Tony is up for some yakuza stuff.

Bruno Dion

Agree, ost soundtrack is good and it leans more into the mature side of things

Lichrin69

Lotta good suggestions so far as there's still plenty of great anime for you to get through. For mine I'd say: Link click - mystery / suspense time travel show that leaves you edge of your seat almost every episode. 2 seasons of 11 episodes. Made in abyss - Dark fantasy / adventure show (some heavy stuff / gut punches though) but with amazing soundtrack. 2 seasons of 12 episodes and a movie in between. Banana Fish - Action / suspense show involving mafia with psychological themes. 24 episodes.

Jarod S

Baccano (dub is good)

Derek

Oh yeah and Made in Abyss

Andrew Muggleton

Gurren Lagann! One of my favorites!

Daniel Gil

Seconding Haikyuu and Chihayafuru

Adam Clamp

Spice and wolf would be a good one

Juan Ramirez

I second Kongming, it's pretty funny and ridiculous, and is loosely related to music (moreso related to club and festival culture)

A37

Fate/Zero seems to be more to your taste. R - 17+ rating action and fantasy book adapted into an anime. Has one of the better Yuki Kajiura soundtracks so the music is immaculate. The animation and digital compositing is still industry leading since it was made by Ufotable. Its a prequel so it works as a starting off point, but also functions really well as an independent narrative. 24 episodes total. I think you might like it if you like stuff like Vinland Saga.

Auks

Berserk (1997)

JetLife2TheNextLife

Demon Slayer and One Punch Man are both great as many of others have said. I'd love to see Ranking of Kings though. Alot of people brushed it off when it came out because of its kidish and cartoony art style but it's such an amazing fantasy anime.

peeps

Ranking of Kings is one of my favorites and I feel like you'd like it. Shows mentioned by others that I'd also recommend would be Re:Zero, Made in Abyss, Ya Boy Kongming! and Shan-La Frontier

Sprucefer

Based choice

Ryuk

Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, indie rock anime

kiwi

Ya Boy Kongming is a cool music related anime. There's also an over the top "idol" anime called Zombie Land Saga that is pretty hilarious.

Baka

the nier automata anime would be cool, and part 2 starts this summer

plug-in panda

What about Maho Shoujo Madoka Magica (or also known as Puella Magi Madoka Magica)

JackTheDaniels

Tower of God - Kevin Penkin soundtrack, Season 2 coming out this fall.

Chris Johnson

If you wanna keep the fantasy train going than I would suggest Re:Zero, Made in Abyss or maybe Shangri-la Frontier. If your open to anything though then 100% either Neon Genesis Evangelion or Cowboy Bebop the classics.

AussieBoy

Overlord!!

Kiss Shot

One Punch Man could be some dumb fun

Cro Phazer

DrumRollTony

A place further than the universe, Made in Abyss or Pluto!

Mirrorline

👀👀

DrumRollTony

You haven't done any sports anime yet, so Blue Lock, Haikyuu, or Chihayafuru(my personal favorite, but probably less popular for the channel) might be fun :) Other than those, A Place Further than the Universe Ya Boy Kongming (music-related) Nana (very old school, but a mature story and music-related)

Stefan Nelson

Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor

soor7

Hope you will check out Kaiji at some point. it's an anime about gambling. and was even the main inspiration for Squid Game. which you can clearly see.. and it's one of the most thrilling anime I've ever seen. It's also from the same studio that made Death Note, Death Parade and frieren to name a more modern one. At the time Kaiji was created, Studio Madhouse was the number 1 animation studio. They created one masterpiece after another. For me it’s a truly hidden gem Unfortunately not so many people know about Kaiji.
