Also, the "cutesy" vocals in the ED are because the voice actresses for the main quartet are singing it in character. That's fairly common in anime EDs (some even do it the OP too, though that's usually reserved for idol anime)

Also, I think Mayu was trying to get Kanade to call her by her first name, but Kanade insisted on calling Mayu by her surname, implying a distance
