He watched Death Note, and is now watching Code Geass in place of it, so Evangelion probably wouldn't fit on this poll. FMAB is definitely a classic but it's newer than most people realize since it only started airing in 2009. But at the rate he's going through Code Geass I'm sure the opportunity will come up for Evangelion.

In that case, you could opt for the alternative of watching 2 reactions per week, each consisting of 2 episodes(4 episode a week). This way, it would take you 5 years. That's quite a commitment, especially considering that you're planning to live a long life.(As you delve deeper into the world of anime, your likelihood of not watching One Piece dwindles towards zero.)But of course that's your choice.

That was on a lot of polls and here it is. I am in no rush at all. Tony being new to anime, having a musical background makes it a very enjoyable watch. I've seen other anime reactors and I don't get the same out of them as I do Tony. Let's all just chill, hangout, and enjoy what's to come.

2024-05-14 23:53:17 +0000 UTCI'm all for FMAB since I love its story and music, and the dub is a good one. I also find it to be one of these animes that aren't too exotic, and sometimes touching on different themes and locations than *highschool in japan* or *another isekai* is great.

It's a slow burner and slow burners are just boring for reactions. I don't want to wait multiple weeks until the reactor gets to the good episodes/the climax. Plus it's like 1000+ episodes. Yeah, no.

2024-05-14 18:47:09 +0000 UTCI reallyyy enjoy Re:Zero, but the third season is coming in October so I'm fine putting it off and voting for Mob Psycho instead. Mob is like a perfect show. It's starts great, continues to be great, and ends great. It's such a consistent level of quality, and is one of the most emotionally healthy shows to ever exist. I enjoy all of these shows though, and am perfectly happy if FMA wins because it's also a wonderful classic. Demon Slayer is also really good, but among these four it's actually the weakest for me even if it does have some really exciting moments and an overall interesting story.

I think it's got what you're looking for moreover than the others on the list, not that the others are bad, just that they're a lot more beholden to Japanese values, beliefs, and comedy styles, very foreign stuff. The FMA: Brotherhood story is written in a pretty universal style by a single girl, Hiromu Arakawa. She not only wrote the entire story, but also made the designs for every single character, this show being far more faithful to the comic manga Arakawa created than the original adaptation from 2003.
