Solo Leveling Ep 11

I really don't see how that battle turned out the way it did

BUT lol....

Very fun to watch

Solo Leveling Ep 11

Lol ok 👍

DrumRollTony

I love how you think he won’t get killed. You keep making comments like he’ll get resurrected if shit goes south. There’s never been a single fight in this show where death wasn’t a very real possibility, and while there is healing magic in this show, there aren’t any revive spells. If Jinwoo gets killed, he’s dead.

So what happend was that his gauntlet basically has this skill that let's him grab something and neglect all damage done and then stabbed him in the eye through the little gap in the helmet if i remember right from the manhwa (you probably know this already i'm late to the patreon)

Kamisch

Yeah I see it as he was getting whooped, but finally got an opening that Igris couldn't read or react to in time, and capitalized on it by spamming fatal strike into Igris's throat through the gap in armor under the front lip of the helmet. He couldn't do that earlier because he couldn't get in close enough before to land anything besides a stray kick. I also appreciate that he admits he was outclassed and his win was a fluke.

Lol lol lol I just inhale

DrumRollTony

Wait are people actually supposed to cut the sandwich in half If the sandwich is for me? I'm just eating the whole thing like what's the point of cutting it?

Lijnaito2021 !

For some reason they didn't show it in the episode, but in the manga each piece of armor he equipped before the fight had some passives to them. The reason he was able to just grab the sword at the end there was because of the passive on one of his gloves that would negate all damage to that body part, which caught Igris off guard letting Jinwoo stab him in the eye.

Xoulium

Wait, there are people out there that eat their sandwich before cutting it in half? How barbaric... I do the exact same thing, haha.

Jet Man

He simply outsmarted him at the end. Refer to my comment above

Lijnaito2021 !

The best way I can describe it is igris didn't know that Jinwoo had armor equipped because it's invisible. So when he blocked the sword he was confused and used that as an opportunity to stab him in the eye to disorient. Him pushed him to the back when igris went to grab the Dagger out of his eye to use on Jinwoo. That's not how the dagger works. It just goes right back to Jinwoo into his inventory and igris didn't know that so that threw him off as well. That's when Jinwoo decided to use all the rest of his mana on fatal strikes to eventually pierce his throat. Should he have won that? No absolutely not but he outsmarted igris at the very end which is what helped him to a fluke victory

Yeah it's still fine as entertainment value. It's good to have comfort shows to just watch and vibe with

Danyul

This one feels like an easy watch. I'm down with it in the mix

DrumRollTony

Jinwoo may have won the battle, but he absolutely lost that fight. Man was getting played with 😭 And yeah basically he said it himself, it was a fluke. Luck 10000%

Arsenic805

Yeah as well animated as it is every fight follows the same formula of like: Struggles/gets ass beat, gets bailed by new power gained in that moment or earlier in the episode, wins because reasons. Not that it isn't expected from this type of series because it's super common, but it's still a bit goofy lol
