2024-03-25 19:03:27 +0000 UTCFinally at episode 22, an actual masterpiece in direction. The way they make use of the black bars is incredible, making Shin an outsider watching his own story. Having him fully outside the bars and making the bars cut off his hand is so god damn cool. And then everything with Lena, the way she steps out of the frame, the mechanical blue field turning into a living red, "That's something you should be proud of" with the perfect hit in the music (Voices of the Chord) and the bars finally going away. It's just all so good, so perfectly done. I definitely understand your annoyance, imagine waiting 3 months to get that ending. But one more episode left and in my opinion it's just as perfectly made as this one
