2024-01-16 17:19:47 +0000 UTCDefinitely think FLCL would be something you'd enjoy and its different to anything you've seen up to now + only 6 episodes so could watch it all at once like a movie if you wanted. That said everything here is good (tho Code Geass does get a little convoluted with the politics / plot threads / twists)

This show has some of the most stupid twists and plot developments known to mankind. It might not be a very good show overall, but it is entertaining and I'm all here for it. Especially with how exceptionally great the ending is. It has my vote. I want to see what Tony thinks of it.

2024-01-12 19:04:30 +0000 UTCCode Geass is a masterpiece, even though I don't like mecha anime, this is the only mecha anime I love. Mecha is not my genre. I don't like fighting robots, because robots have no feelings and even if a human is inside them and controlling them, it doesn't make me emotional when a human in a robot gets killed. And also with the power up systems, because yes, an engineer has developed a better part or weapon and now it's stronger, but without training. Yes, the driver is important, just like in motorsport. But no exceptional driver with a normal Fiat 500 beats a decent driver with a Ferrari. So for me, it's boring in all mecha anime when they get in the robots, till when they are getting out. But this anime still fascinated me because of the great story telling. But still I voted for Samurai Champloo, but would be happy with Code Geass too.
