I 100% with this idea. It's worth watching while we're still on this planet. It's that good imo. 86 and Vivy released during the same anime season so I think replacing 86 with it when you're done would be perfect.

Without even having watched the other ones on the list I know Vivy is easily the best but it could not be further from "music" centric compared to the rest. In it's defense, the premise does involve singing. There's a good amount of music moments but it's dwarfed by the story telling which is pique.

2023-11-21 23:28:59 +0000 UTCI didn't watch Sound, and suggested Vivy not knowing that a music "themed" anime wasn't the intent. That's on me, but I was not trying to undermine the ask. That being the case I agree with what others have said, just roll with whatever gets second place if Vivy wins, and either watch Vivy after 86 or don't watch it at all. Again, sorry.

Carole and Tuesday is a really good show with tons of songs and pretty good variety of genres shown. I've never watched Kids on the Slope before so if it wins then your reaction will be my first watch of it. Also, another music anime that I like a lot that could maybe be on the next vote is Those Snow White Notes.

2023-11-21 19:34:35 +0000 UTCyea as much as i would love to see your reaction to Vivy, it's not a music centered anime, there's a concept of singing in it so i think that's why people voted for it but its nothing like sound euphoniom. Would be better as a replacement to Eighty Six after you finish that if its voted for again since there's action in it.

2023-11-21 19:28:01 +0000 UTCvivy, or well the protagonist named vivy is an idol, a songstress in this case. Her main goal is to see people smile with her singing. So most of the ost youll hear is songs, but yeah it's not a fully fledged music show, but definitely has good music to react to.
