Yeaaa that part is a real bummer, they really tried to drive the point of 16 being consent age but i think it made it even worse. Some of the stuff he said can be explained as coping with losing a patient he got really close to and all but that one scene when he hesitates when asked if he would date Ai if he had a chance is just foul. Well other then that the show is amazing, i really love how they handle his sexuality or maybe i should say asexuality after reicarnation. Where he no longer looks at Ai as a person of disire and more of like a godly figure in his life. I feel like its both a bit of new aqua corrupting the personality of the old one, and trauma making him unable to get attached.

Glad I gave it another shot now though, it's actually good, maybe don't start off your 10/10 show with a grown man infatuated with a 16yo though!
