It sounds like quite a few reaction-type Patreon accounts got hit with some DMCA issues.
I was required to remove ALL of the JoJo episode reactions to keep my Patreon account active as I received notification of claimed copyright infringement from VIZ Media LLC.
I have been talking with Patrons in the Patreon Discord channel about some methods in which we could continue JoJo here but NOT violate any DMCA issues.
(Time Stamp reaction with just me and only my audio while you have the episode up on your end)
I would like to keep Patrons that are here for JoJo content happy as I appreciate having you as a member of the Patreon.
Expect a poll soon with some ideas on how we will move forward

Potentially. If the company issued DMCA takedowns to Patreon that has content behind a paywall they will issue DMCA takedowns anywhere. I am trying to figure out where will be the best place to host them. I am not trying to get into a non stop wheel of moving content from platform to platform dodging if that makes sense.

I know you can usually have them be password protected on other sites but I guess that would spawn the problem that a member could just give out the passwords so I'm not entirely sure.

2023-03-17 23:58:50 +0000 UTCYes but your patreon wouldnt be in the crosshairs of whatever companies might have issues with your reaction content. And as far as Ive seen both Streamable and Pixeldrain are fairly reliable. Those are at least what Ive seen being used the most without issues. Streamable being relatively new while another reactor Ive watch has been using Pixeldrain for over 2 years.

2023-03-17 23:02:52 +0000 UTCI respect whichever you choose to do. I personally like the convienence of Picture in Picture [PiP] since I mainly watch on mobile. If you were gonna continue with that route Id look into using other sites to host your video and just have the link here. I mean copyright will follow you anywhere you go, you just gonna pick which battles you wanna fight and which you dont.
