Added 2024-08-25 08:35:15 +0000 UTCNot using colours for years and then using them all at once. Colour theory and brush pens are hard to master but mistakes need to be made to be able to learn I guess !
Note to self : paper choice is important
Also I try not to make every single thing "aesthetic" so I can free myself from the struggle of not doing everything perfectly but HOW are other artist's random ugly study sketches always pretty O. O

That's exactly it ! For a long time I didn't want to share anything that wasn't "perfect" (what's perfection well...) and it does contribute to this idea that nobody ever makes mistakes, and just get to learn like magic !

2024-08-30 17:43:32 +0000 UTCOther artists random ugly study sketches only seem pretty because they're done by someone else; you have a different eye for them. Also most of other artists random ugly study sketches are just as ugly but they only post the few ones that are good looking.
