053 - Dev Blog

Hello, hello! How are you guys on this lovely Monday? We hope you had a wonderful weekend! Now fasten your seat belts because it’s dev blog time!!

Banshee began this week by finishing up Elly's new armor set! Now our favorite fighter gal can finally de the knight she was always meant to be! <3 She also made the concept art for a new character that has been hinted at in the past Beta and Alpha builds, and will be introduced by the end of Chapter 5! How exciting!

Banshee also worked on the assets needed for the latest Beta build, including the variants for the latest CathxSylvara CG, new expressions, and a naked sprite for our dear angel Sigrid! And yes, that includes her, uh... holy lance.

Vane focused on the latest quest this week, he added about 12k words of new content although that was nowhere near enough to finish the quest (we’re still on quest day one!). I don’t think the other days are going to be as lengthy but I’m sure this quest is going to be quite long.

Also, it goes without saying, Vane worked on adding everything that was done this week and the last to the build for our latest release.

Now with this release, we’re now getting extremely close to the release of Chapter 5! It almost feels like we’ve been working on this chapter for many months, the delays at the end of the year due to our recess and Vane exploding his knee really pushed it back quite a bit. But, we’re finally getting there! We hope you guys are excited about it, we’ve been working really hard on this Chapter and I think this is our best work yet and, hopefully, you guys will think the same!
