Poll - How long should we take in between updates
Added 2020-05-10 04:46:22 +0000 UTCHey there guys! With release day for chapter two approaching fast, we have been asking ourselves what should be the regular interval in between updates for the future.
We took two months to make this one since we wanted to add a few new mechanics in it, improve some areas we found lacking, and then still be able to deliver a meaty update with lots of content. Still, we want your opinion on what should be our average time between updates!
Right now we have 3 camps of thought:
- Monthly updates - We could do monthly updates which would be, of course, smaller in scope to allow us to handle the workload.
- Bi-monthly updates - Basically what we are doing now, two months allows us a lot of time to make a very long update and still have time to add new mechanics and extra features.
- Take as long as it takes - We would still strive to always make the updates as fast as possible, but we would take as long as it takes to release them. That would ensure the best of updates since we would have all the time in the world to polish every little aspect of it, but releases would take longer to come out.
So, those are the options that we have in mind right now. We would love to know which one you prefer and if you have some other idea on how we could do the releases, please let us know!
