so I was caught with a big scam and I’m scared for my life lol. I lost 400 usd and I don’t have hopes in getting that back. Apparently these people have scammed 50+ people from upwork already. And they have been doing it for so long. Being a revengeful and emotional Pisces, I did what I have to do.
At first, I talked to hackers (ethical) to see if the funds can be retrieved but only one told me it would be very hard and costly. The other one confirmed the infos I gathered like the owner’s name, contact info and their location are correct. They’re now helping me to report it to that country’s pol dept. I also filed complaints to Upwork (where they r posting their scams) and they are on the move as well but very slow so I’ll give them 5/10. lol. I notified my crypto wallet’s support about the scam and is now reporting the scam. My friend’s lawyer has been a big help too.
I had people reached out to me because they were scammed too and in the past few days, it’s been really hard but I’m slowly pulling myself together.
I have plans to raise more awareness and I know it’ll give me more anxiety and stress. I’m not trying to be a hero but I want to give justice to my dumb self. 😭

I certainly did not get the justice i deserved buuuuut a lot of artists became aware about this and avoided it so i think I’m okay with that 🤣 also thank youuuuuu heheheh 🥰
