Chapter Nine is so so so close! I've been chipping away at it slowly, and it has so many different variations and routes to it that for a while it has felt like a bit of a mess. But, I have most of it written out in a way that makes sense to my brain now, and next week I'll be able to start implementing it in twine. Now, last month I posted all the routes separately due to them being so vastly different. I had plans of doing that this month as well, but I ended up hoping around too much. That, and I realized about 75% of the way through the cold write, that the chapter was way too short.

Now, I will warn you all now, that there are not a lot of choices in this chapter. Not because MC isn't getting to make a choice but because the second half of this chapter is a very lore heavy observation portion. But, it is setting up the end of this book and the start of the next one in a way. This last portion was a non planned add on bit that I decided to put in to give the chapter more bulk and let me just say, I am so glad I never plan anything out in my stories and let everything come naturally. Because I don't think this would have happened otherwise.

You'll be able to see most of the Barons in this chapter. Only for a brief bit, but they are getting brought back in. The only ones unavailable is Taliesin and the Fates, for obvious reasons.

It's also so nice having MC and the RO's semi together again. It was too long to keep them apart in my opinion, but damn did I struggle with getting them back together. I'm very curious how it will all shake out in the final edit.

For those of you who did the Kickstarter last year and still have shop keeps/Barons coming up, do not worry. I have not forgotten about you. Your creations are going to be in the beginning of Chapter Ten and you should receive some contact from me soon.
