Rent-A-Girlfriend Sequel!

It was quite a close one and for a moment I thought Ruka would win and I would have to adjust the story... But unsurprisingly, Mizuhara Chizuru a.k.a Ichinose Chizuru was the winner of the Twitter poll and Mami and Ruka drew in second with poor little Mini in last place. That's not too surprising given that Mini hasn't appeared in the anime yet!

So what happens next?

Q. When to expect the Sequel...

A. Having spoke to Closed-Rim, they can fit me in for a commission in July. Most likely the Manga will be finished in August and will be released then. Alternatively I could find another artist, but I've decided to work with Close-Rim on this one.

Q. Do you have a rough plot planned?

A. Yes, I actually had a rough idea planned out some time ago, but due to budget and time, I wasn't able to execute it. The story will continue from where it left off and after mishandling the body that he had "borrowed" from Sumi. The guy will hop from Sumi to the unsuspecting Mizuhara who was unaware that Sumi wasn't actually Sumi.and steal the body of Sumi's friend!

Q. Why aren't there more pages? Is it expensive to commission work?

A. Yes, the production of the manga or illustration can be quite expensive at times depending on who I go with. Those of you who are familar with TSF Singularity will know that they have a crowd funded community and I am hoping for the same. Perhaps Soul Switch Online can become a full on doujin!
