custom character: for now it’s mostly just a name swap - it’s built on existing characters and reuses their contexts, so the custom one shares a single storyline with the chosen character - it’s a lazy hack to save time, but I’ll expand it •ᴗ•
to everyone who was worried about Ellie - don’t fret, she’s still here, she just doesn’t show up on the start screen anymore

oh, thanks - I see the bug with the custom character name. If u delete the custom name, it causes an issue with displaying names in english. I’ll fix it in a hotfix by friday

But I think I should let you know: the name tag for every character in the visual novel playthrough now has the custom character name in it. Every character now has "Ellie" in the name tag of the dialogue window. Sandbox seems to be fine, it's just happening in the visual novel. The characters still "know" their own names, it's just the name tag that is wrong.
