Added 2024-11-25 10:24:58 +0000 UTCWe are currently going through Going Seventeen in a very chaotic way. We are having a great time checking out the greatest hits of GOSE's past, but we're also very aware that we had previously been doing Season 1 and haven't gone back to it in a while.
We will still be doing new GOSE on Thursdays, but we're open to switching up how we've been approaching which GOSE episodes we do on Sunday.
Please pick which of the following options best describes what you would like us to do with Sunday's GOSE slot:

2024-11-27 15:52:33 +0000 UTCMy opinion is… GOSE S1 (2017) is mainly liked a behind video rather than a variety show, i suggest you can start from 2018 GOSE spin off (Ep. 16,17,21,-24), other episodes are their concert tour behind, you can skip about GOSE 2019, please check ep.06,07 first, then starting from ep.12, you can watch all episodes in order

2024-11-25 16:09:42 +0000 UTCi think gose 2019 is a good starting point, especially eps. 6-7 where they create and film the theme song and intro! in my head, ep. 14 of gose 2019 (mbti of svt #1) is when they begin the variety content we’re used to. it’d be fun to go from there so that you won’t miss out on jokes and references they make in future eps :)

2024-11-25 14:57:06 +0000 UTCCaratland is a fanmeeting rather than a full concert so was not considering that. Also, i picked DE first so that they can see SVT's growth even for concerts. And d unit stages alone (for me) makes d DE setlist better then BeTS. Just my personal opinion tho

Like 2019 you need to see it.

2024-11-25 12:42:52 +0000 UTCI personally like the format you were doing. Complete a whole series. Just like you categorize or theme your live stream jukebox. It's fun. Maybe you could do all the episodes that Seungkwan hosts. I think there are 3. Then move on to Wonwoo hosting, Woozi, etc.

I really love the idea of watching another Seventeen series especially In The Soop I mean we’ll still get GoSe Thursday so yeah, it’s so healing and heartwarming and would be great during these colder months, a closer look at their beautiful bond wether it be in group settings or smaller groups it’s so much more intimate than any other series imo obviously does have some variety included but for the most part you’ll get to see them rest and enjoy themselves in beautiful Korea which I feel you guys haven’t seen this side of them yet and it’ll be your first ITS and even more special bonus is both season is OT13!

2024-11-25 11:44:32 +0000 UTCLike some other comments here already said, I'd start at GoSe 2019 and go from there to fully see their variety show journey and evolution, as well as their inside jokes and the making of GoSe like producing and recording the theme song for example.

2024-11-25 11:44:14 +0000 UTCI think you should definitely start watching again from Going Seventeen 2019 (and work your way through until you catch up to 2024), which is when the show really begins it's variety show format, because honestly every episode is really funny and there's so many inside jokes that built up over the years that they still reference today, even in the standalone episodes that aren't apart of a "main series" like Don't Lie and Bad Clue. There's also standalone concepts that were really fun that they only did one or two times (such as kickball, go-kart racing, running a restaurant, having an e-sports competition, ultra competitive auctioning, etc) that are really worth watching and in my opinion are some of the best episodes. They also filmed the creation of the GoSe theme song in the 2019 season which is so fun and cool to see. It seems like a lot of episodes but there's really not that many from 2019 until now because it goes really fast and the concepts make it worth it!

2024-11-25 11:33:59 +0000 UTCI agree with one of the other comments, I'd love for you to start GoSe from the start of the actual Going Seventeen variety episodes in 2019 (there's some classic hits immediately in the first season ) rather than watching years worth of behind the scenes clips ! As others said maybe start with the episodes where they make the theme song from scratch.

There’s just so much inside jokes missed and yes if you do greatest hits watch them but also missing other funny ones in between. Another option is can make a list of episodes to watch from each year so not just greatest hits but others which think would be a great reaction. 2019 need to start from the making of the theme song
