This is the start of many next-generation builds of link series, utilizing the same build regulations as the factory gauge-based automation builds. The plan is to try and bridge the gap between factory gauge-based automation and link series automation by the way these builds are designed, making it so that you can exclusively use factory gauges or restockers to manage items for these builds. Additionally, you will now be able to expand upon your storage rather than sending the items somewhere else and the inputs and outputs are now to be located on one side, allowing for your chain conveyors to run next to the machine instead of above, making base design much easier.
Note: This build uses bulk processing and cannot be mirrored!
Breakdown:
Cobblestone and quartz are to be inputted into one of two barrels, either by utilizing frogports or funneling items directly into the barrels. The left barrel contains the cobblestone, which is dropped onto a depot where it is then taken by one of the mechanical arms in the machine and given to the mechanical crafters. The quartz is dropped onto a belt where it is transferred to a depot located in the middle of the machine. From this depot, mechanical arms take the quartz and distribute it to the basins and mechanical crafters in the machine. When quartz and cobblestone are inputted into a mechanical crafter, they are converted into diorite, which is sent into a basin where it is combined with quartz to create granite. This process of mechanical crafters and basins is repeated four times. The granite is then taken out of the basins via a mechanical arm and deposited into a barrel via a brass funnel filtered to granite. From here, the granite falls down a smart chute and ends up on a conveyor, which shoots the items into a pair of crushing wheels, converting the granite into red sand. The red sand shoots off the belt under an encased fan, where it is washed into gold nuggets and dead bushes, which are sent into a basin via a brass funnel filtered to only take those items. The gold nuggets are converted into ingots via a mechanical press and are sent into the output chest via a mechanical arm giving the items to a smart chute. The dead bushes are taken from the basin and given to another smart chute via a mechanical arm. These items, however, will fall into lava if the storage is full, while when the gold ingot storage becomes full, a threshold switch sends a signal into the machine via a pair of linked redstone links, halting the output of granite, essentially choking out the machine.
Estimated Required Inputs Per Hour:
Rotational power: 30 Stress Units x RPM
Cobblestone: 25 x RPM
Quartz: 28 x RPM
Estimated Required Outputs Per Hour:
Gold Ingots: 1 x RPM
Dead Bushes: 1.25 x RPM

Linking to Your Network:
First, connect the frogports to your chain conveyor system. Now, take the stock link hidden in the middle of the machine on the output packager and link it to your network, then place it back down on the output packager. Next, use factory gauges, restockers, or signs to route items to their respective input frogports located on the front.
Setup Guide:
1. Waterlog the copycat frame under the encased fan then place lava in the caldron.
2. Break then place back down the threshold switch and configure it to your needs.
3. Apply rotational power anywhere to the machine at any speed, ensuring everything spins correctly.
Troubleshooting:
Brass Funnel 1 - Located on the hopper in the middle of the machine
Filter - None | Facing Away | Extract Amount Any
Brass Funnel 2 - Located on the back side of the machine, facing the basin
List Filter - (Deny List) Red Sand | Facing Towards Basin
Brass Funnel 3 - Located on the front side of the machine, attached to the basin
List Filter - (Deny List) gold nuggets | Facing Away from Basin
Brass Funnel 4 - Located on the back side of the machine
Filter - Dead Bushes | Facing Away from the vault
Smart Chute - Located on the back side of the cobblestone input barrel
Filter - None | Extract Amount Any
Mechanical Arm 1 - Located closest to the quartz input
Take items from the depot containing cobblestone
Deposit Items to Mechanical Crafters to make diorite
Mechanical Arm 2 - Located 2nd closest to the quartz inputs:
Take items from the depot containing quartz
Deposit Items to Mechanical Crafters to make diorite
Threshold switch:
Power Off when Top Row > 180 Stacks
Power On when Top Row < 179 Stacks
