Good news! I'm finally able to draw/design forms intuitively and the result is close to my drawing with pencil/paper. It has been a long, long time since I made the decision to immigrate from real media to digital. I'm happy with the result of this work so far and will continue to finalize it before the end of this month.

It's been a while since the previous post, and you can see the whole composition of Flow is changed. Yes, without any surprise, I have struggled during those days trying to find a better solution to design forms. Below are some attempts:

You can see I was changing the method of 'sketching' or 'shading' from one attempt to another. Which I found most digital painters just skip or roughly draw without invest too much time on. In my case, it seems I still need to make it very thorough to give me the full control for painting over. It might be inevitable that I'll need to learn 3D sculpting someday, hmmmmm :/

首圖是Flow目前的進度，幾天前在推特上有貼過稍早的草稿(圖片附在上半部) ，沒意外的話本月的HD2+獎勵將是這張的完成版本。

好消息是自從放下紙筆、投向數位創作後，這次是我首度達成「利用數位繪畫模擬近似在紙上素描與構思型體的過程」這個目標，雖然還是很花時間，但至少在構思的過程不會太虐待大腦，減輕我過去一直感到數位創作過程不夠直覺、甚至無法實現許多構想的困擾。

話說這張和上一PO的構圖差很多，原因無他，這幾天內叭子依然在和畫失敗/無法繼續細化的問題抗戰，也就是我重畫了很多遍，以下是抗戰失敗的部份成果：(圖片附在上半部)

從這些練習可以看到我一直在調整「打草稿」與「上陰影(=整理素描關係)」的方法，當然啦這些通通都是失敗作，但從這些屍體中我偶然得出一個更符合我需求的畫法，細節將會留到本月的process photo帖子討論。又話說、大多數位繪者並不會在這步驟花太多時間，我比較不幸就偏偏是那個會花一堆時間設計形體和整理素描關係的類型orz 這個步驟所需要的概念可能更近似於3D創作環境的「雕塑」，也就是我可能哪天還得擠出更多時間來學基礎建模和zbrush...畫畫真的是好難啊!!
