Leather devil WIP
Added 2018-10-09 09:45:30 +0000 UTCSince I'm switching to a 24" cintiq pro (4k), I want to make a similar work for comparing with one of my previous post in May, which I drew on a 13" cintiq HD (1080p). This is a WIP waiting for further refinement.
Somehow I am having better control of drawing on a 24" cintiq pro. It's easier for me to check perspective, composition, anatomy, ideas and not get distracted by small flaws. And the brush strokes! They're finally landing on where I want them to land! (guessing nobody knows what the hell I'm yelling) Anyway, it's much closer to what I felt when drawing on real paper. Just hoping the Ergotron stand can be available in my country sooner so I won't get a sore back easily :/
(So does it make me draw faster? Actually, NO. I'm still a slowass ;o;)
Also, I'm recording the process video of this work. Good news, my PC didn't fail me so far!

既然最近換到大尺寸的螢幕上畫圖，想說來畫張和之前主題相同的作品，比較一下成果會不會有差。本po是構圖已經確定、但還沒上墨線的版本。(比較圖已經貼在上半部)
個人覺得較大的螢幕以及高解析度對於構圖的改進是很有感的(彩稿就...幾乎沒差)。更方便檢視與修正構圖上的問題，而且比較不會被瑣碎的小瑕疵(線稿沒清乾淨啦、線條銜接點互相交錯啦、筆壓看起來沒什麼起伏啦等等)干擾思考構圖的過程。最重要的是筆觸終於落在我想要它們落下的位置了(沒人聽得懂)總而言之，目前畫起來的手感已經很接近紙上作業，如果腳架可以快點在台灣上市就好啦，不然背好容易痠。
至於新螢幕能不能改善畫圖的速度？對我來說是沒什麼差別，可能我太喜歡東修西改了(痛哭)
是說我目前正在錄製這張作品的繪製過程，目前很幸運，該錄的都有錄到XD
