Three attempts to color the same art

Without any surprise, they're all failed. Sometimes I feel maybe I should make a quick post without too much comment so I can save some time to work on painting. While I'm also very lucky to have very active patrons willing to share opinions. So...sorry about those gibberish & my odd English. Also if you'd like to see my comment but don't have time to reply, leaving a like is also appreciated :))

Let's conclude my thoughts about these three practice:

Practice A: I introduced very strong light source on this one. It means I need to describe every form by various value. I roughly apply values on it, but it's still quite flat and hard to add more details. I guess I just painted it too hastily and don't know how to make a good start.

Practice B: I softened the light impact and directly paint with color. I got lucky with this one and it's kinda promising. The color scheme is from cold(light) to warm(dark); there's also some saturation variation to make it looks more nature. Thus it became very hard to apply this transition to every form while also to keep the values in order. To finish it is not impossible, but time-wise it's not a sustainable method for being productive.

Practice C: I gave up on value and tried to paint with flat style. The shapes are very clear to see and overall, faster to paint. But I have no idea how to choose colors if without concerning values. I guess I just have a poor sense for flat painting style ;o;

再發三個過程圖，雖然沒畫成功啦但總之還是放上來吧...(非常心虛)話說我目前是盡量把想講的話都全丟上來，不過其實這樣整理感想(而且還要搞雙語版)挺花時間的。有時在想也許我該速速丟圖上來後就躲起來乖乖繼續畫圖？假如你有興趣繼續在未來的帖子裡看我的廢話，可以留言或至少按like讓我知道一下。

以下是這次的練習感想：

練習A： 這張放了強烈的光影效果，但有光呢就有灰度，有灰度就有更多問題要解決。簡單來說就是我在練習這張的當下還是很不會控制灰度，所以不管怎麼接著畫都很醜。

練習B： 把光影效果弱化，用一半腦子處理顏色一半腦子處理灰度的方式作業。一開始還算順利，但越細化就越吃力，越發現自己不知道要在這邊填什麼顏色？要多少飽和度？要多少灰度？要偏冷調還是暖調？事實證明我的單核心大腦畢竟是無法立刻就升級為雙核心。

練習C： 自暴自棄，直接丟開灰度，試著用比較平的風格做畫(不曉得在華文圈該怎麼稱呼這種畫法)。然後也因為丟開了灰度，可以一直專心刻輪廓，速度上來說真的快很多，但同時也對於該在哪裡塗上什麼顏色毫無頭續。感覺就是在亂畫，而這亂畫的成果又很不好看。我大概真的是很沒有這方面的sense(啜泣)
