Question for Patreon patreons, subject: Delvers Anthology

Hey everyone!

I know a lot of people are waiting until the anthology is out before they read any of the stories, which I totally understand.

For those of you that have read some or all the stories, what do you think?  I'm not even asking for your opinion in regard to something specific, I'd just like to hear your thoughts in general.

The entire book with all seven stories will be 150k words+, which is pretty damn massive.

So, yeah.  What's on your mind?

Comments

Oh, yeah, a story with a villains perspective would be just the perfect cherry on top. Good call.

I LOVED it, every story was unique enough to be fresh, and having new eyes on parts of Ludus we hadn’t seen before was fantastic! I think it’s a really cool project, and my only complaint is that I’ve already read all the stories, so I won’t have new content to read when I the book comes out, haha.

Drew Risch

So far with comments here and in PMs, reviews are mixed, but mostly positive. My next few publishing efforts will be full-sized books for sure. Everyone has waited a long time for their favorite series at this point. But if the anthology sells well, maybe we can do another in a year or two. :P

To be honest the stories I tried have not grabbed me. I plan on digging in and looking at the other stories, as that is the advantage of an anthology. But I am most interested in the core storyline, though nora definitely grew on me.

Im waiting till release, sorry I can't help :(

Was an excellent way to flesh out the world without making Ludas seem small. Was a pleasant surprise after some other collections that left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall quality was high for other writers playing in your sandbox.

Paul Robinson

I'm loving it! Gaining access to so many different view points and different areas of Ludas is amazing, and not something that would have had the same impact if you'd just had the Delvers do it later. I'll reserve my final review for when it's completed, but so far flying colours.

Calamity

I'm reading and enjoying all but one of the stories you've put up so far. The diversity of viewpoints is perhaps the best part of it, we're only really missing a true villain's perspective.
