I'd been hoping to get 3 chapters done between the last blog and this one. I even held out on writing this one in the hopes I could meet that goal. Alas, it is not meant to be.
My plan was to do 3 chapters between blogs, then 4, then 5, and probably hover about there. This is still the plan. I just suck.
Anyway, here we are. Hopefully the next Nora chapter will go out in the next few hours, but we will see.
In other news, my work/life balance has been getting way better, which is good since I can actually write faster/more when everything is humming along smoothly. Toward this end, I've started reading again too and I got a new rig to game with again. I'm really looking forward to Anthem coming out!
For writers who may be reading this, work smarter /and/ harder. Just working hard can be less efficient, and also burn you out. Being a creative worker can be super weird at times.
Honestly, I think the cold weather has not been helping me. I get seasonal depression pretty bad. My response to this realization has been to start jogging again, temperature be damned. It's super uncomfortable and I hate every second of it, but the words are flowing faster now so it must be working.
Lastly, I would like some feedback from you guys. I think I'm going to start trying to do one chapter from one of my other IPs every week that I work on other titles. I know most everyone is waiting on Delvers, and I might get the Delvers 4 prologue out next week. However, if you could get 1 chapter of any other series I've launched, which would you choose?
Secret of the Old Ones. First Song, or Asgard Awakening?

Either way, your doing awesome !! I know it can not feel that way when you have big goals, but we all love your work. Keep it up π
