I'm getting really tired of getting called an SJW, which is not even remotely accurate.

Guys, I appreciate if you've already left a review, but I don't have very many right now, and reviews like this one are bringing down my average really fast.

This is the last time I'll ask--I don't want to be annoying--but I would really appreciate it if everyone could drop by my story page on Amazon and leave a review.  I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

You can leave any review you think is honest.

Well, no. I should clarify. I did feel you were going down the SJW route, until you finished the arc. So the conclusion was based on my final assessment after finishing the Jeff arc and the discussion about Thirsty. As much as I liked the Thirsty character, I guess you had to write the character out so that you don't end up in a corner.

I don't understand. Nothing in the book could be construed as SJW in any way. I started to cringe when I got to the discussion about Thirsty, but either from the voice actor or the narrative, what was said is factual and yeah, I personally know people like that. Prejudice is pretty hard to overcome and I have met people like Henry and I would consider myself like Jason. I was going to leave a review anyway. Also I am planning on posting on Will Wights subreddit. I think they would get a kick out of the series. I would post on Brandon Sanderson subreddit, but the fucks might turn some of the people off, but there isn't any questionable content, besides the cursing, so I don't feel like I would get downvoted for recommending the series there.

Uh just great, memo to self, do not push enter... So about leaving a review... are you ok with 4 stars? Sorry to say, i keep 5 stars for the "mindblowing book i'll tell my grandchildren about"... and 1 star for... well the worst book i can imagine. So i figured that if i dont realy have much to say about a book, i just dont leave a comment and "decrease" the books rating, as so many seems to give 5 stars as a standard. -_- There are a lot of worse books then yours who have a lot of 5 star ratings. I personaly dont go after 5 star ratings. The 4 or 3 star ratings are imho more informative, telling you more about the good and bad sides of the story you whant to know about.

Meh, i dont see where including a gender disoriented person makes you a SJW (funny, needed to google it ^^). Id be upset if you suddenly startet to include BL storyparts. I dont judge people on their sexual orientation, but it dosnt mean i need to reed about it. Or in a nother way, just because i look (hetero) Pornos, dosnt mean i have to look (gay) Pornos to be politicle correct. ;)

Drake

I like this. I just might something like it from now on.

also.. DISCLAIMER: This series is the author's attempt at creating a believable and real feeling sci-fi world and may include concepts that you might find in real life, as it pulls inspiration from said real life and the power of IMAGINATION! (Most actual books do not contain disclaimers, so this is a bonus)

@Sam Mason - But... in almost every book with a man and woman character you end up reading about Heterosexual love lives... So, despite what you said ("I don't care about peoples orientation...") and that there have been heterosexual relationships in previous books, this can only be about a homosexual issue. Thirsty doesn't often comment on being gay, and most of the characters in the world think it is weird thing. Him being gay isn't a plot point, its an individual difference. He doesn't hook up with anyone, he calls Henry cute a few times (but then again, Henry's wife does the same thing, as does Jason's to him...) but again, its rare. Our real world has gay and trans characters in it. Out of the millions that Dolos has tortures with the transition to this retched planet, he had to have brought some outliers over. Also.. you haven't seemed to have a previous 'non purchase issue' with the idea of polygamy, which it has been pointed out being a concept that makes Henry and Jason weird for this world, they only want one significant other. And with the wives picking the future wives, there has to be some romantically inclined choices made by those wives. So.. In essence.. you didn't buy a book because it has one gay character... that the entire book world thinks is weird and strange and alien.

nothing to do with being comfortable or not and anytime something is said about not wanting it shoved in your face that's the reaction. I dont care about peoples orientation i just don't want to be reading about it in my relax time. We see enough of it in the news and everywhere else. I have purchased numerous litrpgs that say nothing about this kind of content and you get halfway through it and bam there it is either it's been a trans character or a full blown erotic scene if i wanted to read about homosexual encounters then i would choose books that have that kind of content listed.. If authors are putting this kind of content in the books there needs or should be something saying it in the disclaimer or tag.

Well, you've read what I've posted here. I wasn't trying to "say" anything by adding the character. There is no gay sex, or gay dating, or anything else. There is a gay character who is a person. I don't add a disclaimer because I don't think one is necessary. I mean, if I had to add a disclaimer for everything that anyone might be offended with, I'd end up with a 3k word document...lol. I'll be honest, though. I don't understand your stance. You're not comfortable with homosexuality. I get it. However, you said you've read my work here, right? So the whole reason you didn't buy my book, despite knowing that the actual content doesn't bother you, was because I didn't include a disclaimer? I didn't add anything more to the book about Thirsty's love life or anything like that. Is that what you thought I did? I'm honestly confused.

Just curious but why don't authors state that kind of stuff in the description. I am in total agreement with the review. I don't care what people do in their private lives but i don't want to be reading about it in a book without a reference in the description so i am given an option to go forward with a purchase or not. I have been hit with a few of the newer litrpg's that have thrown this stuff in without warning. I didn't purchase this one and thats the reason why. I read what you let us see and he was a good character but its the point that i feel that the authors are trying to push these kind of scenes in without telling anyone. Doesn't mean i won't purchase anymore of your books but like i said needs to be something in the description saying this stuff is going on. Don't really care what people do in their private lives but i get the stuff shoved in my face enough on a daily basis that i don't want to be reading about it in a book that i purchase to relax.

I got some pretty good support, thank you. Unfortunately, 1 star reviews really, really hurt. I'm not such an entitled writer that I don't think I should get any bad reviews... But getting slammed with 1 stars by people who haven't even read the book just because of something they heard was pretty lame. I appreciate all the support I got. As usual, those who came through for me, came through in a big way. Now I'm trying to finish another chapter of Delvers 3 to share with everyone! Unfortunately, I need to be happy to write, and the last few days have just be bleh. It's why I haven't given an update. Right now I'm just full of excuses. So... let's cross our fingers!

Blaise Corvin

How is the book doing? Those 1 star reviews hurt. I hope that your old fans and new would look past the guy and form their own opinion.
