2025-10-29 15:42:57 +0000 UTC"Happy Halloween!" The dragoness awoke in a shock from the yell of three young children standing on a small ledge overlooking her enormous treasure. As her mind was forcibly pulled from the dreamworld her eyes sprang open and she quickly turned her head and gaze towards the intruders. Her eyes were glowing like fire, she bared her teeth and snarled menacingly at them. A faint glow of fire could be seen in the back of her throat, increasing in strength as she fixated upon the intruders before her. "Trick or treat!" said all three of the young kids in unison. "You have to give us candy now! Or else we will play tricks on you for a whole year!" The dragoness snarl slowly receded, as she closed her lips she snorted out black smoke through her nose. "You don't want my gold?" she said confused. "No, we don't want your gold, we want candy! and chocolate!" the kids seem real excited about candy and chocolate. "Or else we will play tricks on you, and throw rotten tomatoes at your cave!" She eyed them for a moment and then picked up a single gold coin from her huge pile. It was so small in comparison to her big talons, she had to pin the gold coin between two claws as she gently lifted it over and dropped it at the kids who held their baskets up. "One coin is all you get, should be enough to buy the whole candy store" she spoke with authority in her voice and a slight fiery glow could again be seen in the back of her throat as she looked at them for a reaction. They all three cheered happily and started singing something as they left. "Happy Halloween dragon" yelled the youngest one from some distance away, as they left the cave. The dragoness followed them with her gaze, never taking her eyes off of them until they were outside. She went up to the cave entrance to make sure no one else was approaching, and that's when she saw something. Her entire cave opening had been decorated with pumpkins, spiderwebs and whatnot. She snorted and turned around to go back in to her favorite sleeping spot, her big pile of gold.
